Reviews look good, about time no AH in game

I'd have bought the PC version if it hadn't had the auction house.
How the mighty have fallen, soon to have real money trading in WoW as well :-(

I got the PC version free because I signed up for the annual pass with WoW. Got to admit I'm glad I didn't pay for it. Auction house ruins the game

kibbster jordan i also had the p.c version and loved it but yes the AH ruined that game big time....Great news that the Console version ain't got a AH....the most funniest part is that all the p.c owners on Diablo forum are going mad due to the game having everything the p.c owners wanted, Offline play, No AH, Better loot system, and even the latest patch that the p.c owners ain't even got yet

p.s Auction Houses are a great idea but will never work unless they fix the farmers/gold sellers and the endless other ways to corrupt it

Arrived and installing to xbox hardrive, plus installing the game add on for Infernal Helm

Played mine last night.................................. its amazing!still has the "traditional" Diablo feel to it,i did initially have a few probs equipping stuff but got that sussed.Grafix...............glorious,sharp and VERY atmospheric.I played mine using a Headset and the sound is tremendous.Managed to get to level 4 but for the life of me i cant see how to increase my characters stats,or are they done automatically?I chose to play as the Monk to start with,i usually play a barbarian type, it was a nice change,he is fast and quite deadly!

Stats change accrding to what you equip, the only thing you need to change is your build, here is my old character from the p.c version, ain't used it for ages due to the auction house rubbish

Played the Xbox version last night co-op with my second youngest, only problem was he kept taking all the loot

So basically you dont get to apportion points to your abilities,its all done by equipment etc?I am glad that there is no Auction House in the Console version.

Nope you don't get points, you get new skills that open up the more you level up, monk talent tree here: eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk

As you will see when you hover over a skill it says at the bottom "Unlocked at level ?"

Gear is the deciding factor with this game, better the gear the less you die, and ofc a good talent build

Hmmmm,i will go at this game with an open mind and not compare it too closely with previous diablos.So far after about an hours game play i like it a lot and once i get some serious gear im sure it will get better.I just need to get rid of them bloody captions when interacting with NPc/s!
