Hi, I live in West Yorkshire, near Huddersfield, and am trying to give up Smoking for the second time this year. I have smoked Roll Ups most of my adult life and managed to give up for 6 months earlier this year, I have been Cold Turkey both times, and am now thinking e-cigs may help me to carry on. I am looking to use a Hybrid Vapouriser eventually, and am looking at a product at the moment. Its quite expensive, but if it helps me to stay away from smoking then it would be a cheap investment. I think I should buy a relative "cheapy" tomorrow (Tues) in Huddersfield. I dont want anything like a tailor made fag, more like a Cigar and mouthpiece effort with a rechargeable battery that will last a few hours on 1 charge if I give it some fierce stick!!

keepitgoin to AAEC and good for you to keep trying to give up the smokes. A bit like yourself I used sheer willpower and went cold turkey to give up. I stuck it for 5 years but there wasn't a single day during the 5 years that I wasn't thinking about smoking. Since I started vaping the very thought of a stinky turns my stomach. When you go shopping in Huddersfield make sure you get a kit with 2 batteries and a charger so as to have a second one when the first is recharging. Also remember to buy some eliquid. As a cheapy kit something along the lines of a couple of Ego batteries with Evods on top. The shop you are visiting should have them in. Ideally you want a battery above 900mAh so that you don't have to charge it all the time. An 1100mAh last the average vaper all day.

Nothing further to add to great advice already given, you're lucky to have a shop where you can go in and try stuff.

Don't be tempted to buy too much gear in there without checking a few online Vendors first as prices can vary quite widely due to the overheads bricks and mortar shops have to cover compared to an online store.

Don't give up smoking, start vaping!!

Once you have the right kit and juice you will find it's a natural progression, you won't want to smoke anymore
