Hi everyone I'm still quite new to this vaping lark and am still using new clearos for different flavours. I now have a little pot full of used clearos that I'd like to clean and re-use. I'm sure I read somewhere that you can put them into a bowl of water with a denture cleaning tablet overnight. Is that right?! Should we take them all apart first and rinse them, and can we put a load in together?, then reassemble them when they've air-dried out? Any tips on cleaning clearos (CE4s/CE5s and Evods) greatly appreciated! Thanks

Hi Johel, some take bits off that will come apart & some just take drip tips & bases off (if they are meant to come off) rinse them all first in hot (not boiling) water then add a denture tablet in to a small bowl of hot water let it dissolve then add your clearos or whatever to the water & leave to soak overnight, then rinse & shake off excess water & leave to air dry on a sunny windowsill on a couple of pieces of kitchen roll & they should be ok. I usually rinse them as i change them & then any flavours are not drying into the wicks.

Thanks bestcigliquid. I've got some more CE5s and Evods coming, but it just seemed a waste not re-using ones that I've already got. I don't like putting different flavours into the same clearo as the taste gets spoiled (with the exception of menthol, which seems to go with anything LOL) I haven't yet got into getting spare bits and changing wicks/coils, etc. As you say, they are pretty cheap anyway.

Hi From my experience cleaning CE4's is not worth the hassle, but it is doable. Maybe I got the wrong ones, but denture tablets made everything taste of soap for me, even though I rinsed well after. I simply rinse most of my clearos with warm water. The heads I stick in a cup and pour boiling water onto them, leave for 30 then rinse and dry. I have learnt how to dry burn (so proud!) without getting that horrid burnt taste left, and I always boil them again after I have. Personally after discovering the iClear16s I haven't looked at another CE4/5 since. I still have the replacement heads I bought ages ago, because the heads just go on and on. Hope that helps a little

I've nothing to lose if they will just sit in a drawer anyway LOL.

I do now have two mini Davides which are awesome, but I like the CE4s/5s and Evods to try out new flavours.

Hopefully someone will post a video for you about dry burning for you. Basically it is running power through a dry coil so that any gunk on it burns away (smells terrible, do it by an open window). I only do it with a couple of my flavours, because the others don't need it. There is a nack to it however and there are far more experienced people out there who have done videos It means I can keep using heads that otherwise I would bin. I resisted it for ages, because heads are really not a big expense, but I like figuring out the ins and outs of this lark, so I messed about until I got it right. You can literally see the black gunk on the coil if it needs doing.

Plain Bicarbonate of Soda ( which is what denture tablets are mainly composed of ) is also available in tubs, can be found in the baking aisle of most large supermarkets Joehel.
It doesn't have any flavour, unlike the denture tabs, which some people find lingers even after rinsing - although it doesn't bother me personally and disappears quite quickly after a few vapes.

I use evods & think they are great for trying different flavours. to clean its just a rinse out of the tube & the head I just dry out on a kitchen towel ( the very small wick holds little liquid) after 1 or 2 drags on it the new liquid is in
