Have to admit, I never saw the 'mouse' taking over from the keyboard or the DOS operating system (It'll never catch on, I thought back in the 80s). I never thought a phone with all the apps and internet connectivity would catch on, I just want to make a phone call! Probably a reason why I'm not a millionaire. BUT... I cannot, for the life of me, seeing an advantage in putting the smartphone technology in a watch. I struggle to read my smartphone, there's no way I'll read a screen on a watch. Am I a dinosaour? ???

For me, can't talk for others. I've got a big phone that is a bit too big to drag out of a pocket and use one handed but it's great for multimedia. A smartwatch gives access to all of my phones features via bluetooth on my wrist.
Apart from that I just think they are cool toys ;-)

I'm feeling very like my dear old Dad, who watched me playing on my Sinclair ZX81, and said 'What's all that rubbish'

My grandkids have a good old laugh at granddad's oldies phone with it's big buttons and numbers, no camera and no smart features ( a large screen flip open DORO) but it does what it says on the tin "makes and receives calls"!

I'll look at getting one when they come down in price.. Basically for the same reason as kibbster, Galaxy note II, 5.5" screen, great for internet, but not so friendly in the hand.. Mainly use bluetooth headsets but still have to get it out to read texts,etc.. Already have a watch on my wrist so it may as well do more than tell the time!

I'm interested but don't think they are quite good enough at the moment to justify getting one.

My company phone is about to be replaced and went to look at the options. My current one (HTC Desire S) isn't what I would call tiny, but we're switching to Galaxy something or others (the new one) and they are monstrous. I've decided to keep my old one for a while, as I have delicate girly hands and will probably dislocate my thumb.

I love my laptop and my ipad but my phone is just a phone. No camera, nothing. All I need to do with it is text, phone and receive calls.

I must admit I go the other way on this topic. I have an iPhone 4s and I can check my work emails and personal account, I use it for Satnav using Google Maps, the camera is decent enough, it has a good calculator, I use Evernote for lesson plans, recording hours for my timesheet, I have Dropbox for sharing almost everything between laptop and phone, and it's my diary, planner, reminder, organiser, and I have a few games to while away the minute per day that I have off duty. Oh, and I can use it to make calls on my two SIM cards thanks to my dual-SIM case. I'm happy!
