I love my SVD, took a while to get use to its size, but not I use it all the time, except when out and about.
I use Panasonic 18650 battery from Fasttech it lasts me about 1 1/2-2 days at around 7.5 watts.

Right so if it is telescopic what's to prevent it turning/telescoping on it's own or does it lock in place ? Maybe I should look for youtube vids to demonstrate that as I must be a royal pain in the ar5e with so many questions. Had mine at least 2 months and never undone it by mistake, some 18560 batteries are shorter than others so I find the telescopic really handy.

JayJ the pressure of the battery cap spring will stop it unscrewing --- same as a torch in layman's terms

zeldamum is that because it somehow locks in place and has to be physically unlocked to telescope ? EDIT: Just read @freefromsmoking post.

The tube is threaded jay, so it screws or unscrews to accomodate all size batteries............Don't be afraid of asking questions mate...we've all been there & we're all here to help............

JayJ what I do when inserting a battery is unscrew the telescoping body as far as it will go without actually coming off, insert the battery, tighten the battery cap onto the telescoping body and then screw up the telescoping body until resistance is met. This results in less stress on the battery cap spring.

chrisjw one of the things I've noticed about this forum is there is no arrogant "use the search" comments from people who already have the knowledge. I'm on a few forums, car clubs etc, and some members can be very unhelpful forgetting that they once had to learn. I have to say though I always jump in with help or info if I can to members on other forums and clubs I'm a member of. Hopefully I can pass on anything useful I learn here either to new members or to people I talk to in person I'm a great believer in you learn something new every day and I'd highly recommend this place to anybody, experienced vaper or totally new to vaping like I was just 3 weeks ago.

There is an aaec saying. Pay it forwards.
People with knowledge help others who in turn learn and then help others and so it goes on.
Its a great forum, everyone is really nice both in person and online and so helpful. Best forum I have ever been a member of.

My sentiments exactly...........The day I joined this forum on 1/7/12, I didn't know what an e-cig was, let alone how to use it.......One year on, I'm able to pass on the advice & help I got those first few days, to others........it's what it's all about......when you stumbled upon this forum ( as I did ), you made a good move............You'll get all the help & advice you need & there's no such thing as "a stupid question"...........the only stupid one, is the one you don't ask....
