Karma I don't really like the look of those tbh. Vaping vanity, but I will be putting it to my face regularly lol. Don't dismiss the MVP on looks. Nothing can even attempt to get close on battery life, everything else falls short by a few days lol The MVP can charge through USB and work as a passthrough (kind of) and can charge a smartphone tablet as well. They are build like a brickshit house and just last. The MVP1 has been my rock steady go anywhere device that's 100% reliable and stress free. In fact it's been so good I bought an MVP2 today

I sold my SVD at Vapefest Jay . . . just wasn't for me, big and clunky and the edges of the telescoping tube I found quite sharp. Although you could sort that. It vaped very nicely to be fair however. Not a box mod fan as a rule, but the MVP gets my vote especially as there's a V3 now.

Buy one. You won't regret it.
It's taller then the vamo which put my off but I for one when fastech started stocking them and wish I'd got one sooner. It's slimmer than the vamo and looks a billion times better. Pictures don't so this thing justice.
It vapes well, mine has barely left my hand since I got it. Vaping kings custard in a nova atop an SVD at 8.5w is vaping heaven for me. I absolutely love mine.
If its too big for you take a look at the SID of the telescopic zmax.

Hmm looks sleeker than the SVD, does it perform as well, do all the same things ? I see it's vv and vw but I'm wondering are the controls as easy as theres more buttons on the SVD maybe making navigation a little easier not as much multi pressing on buttons ? little things like the reistance tester built in are attractive to me. £15 more but UK delivery is a big plus. But then batteries and a charger on top. Decisions decisions.

JayJ If you want vv, vw, ohms checker, battery charge indicator etc but don't want to have to buy batteries and a charger consider this (UK dealer and a very good price for a cracking box mod which will give 2 - 3 days on a single charge ... I have the original mk1 version) myepack.co.uk/itaste-mvp-v2-0.html

I have a SID, and it is pretty nice. A LOT lighter than my Vamo.
BUT, as you say, the single operation button bugs my happiness. It's not that it's not intuitive or anything, as it works well. However, the Vamo you can adjust the power output easily, without looking at the device. The SID, and any other single button device, you are having to look at the screen in order to make adjustment, no matter how small.
Never had or tried an SVD yet though, but the MVP V2 is going to be my next mod purchase for sure.

I didn't get on with the buttons on the SVD, but then I'd decided it wasn't for me so didn't stick with it. Had I tried then I would have got used to them no doubt.

The other option is the Evic. Allows you to easily change any setting you could ever want, vapes great with OLED screen, VV, VW, stas import to PC and user profiles with massively adjustable settings across a 10 second vape. Also has a built in alarm, calender and clock (but they stop when you take the battery out... booo) USB rechargeable as well as 18650s unlike the SVD. Excellent piece of kit.
Not cheap as a whole unit anymore but can be bought as just the control head and put onto whatever battery tube you want.

These are the batteries I got recently and they are great : www.fasttech.com/products/1420/10001980/1233700Not sure what the difference is between the green and the grey though? I also have the NCR18650B's but they don't fit in my SID I had a Trustfire TR001 charger with my Vamo, and it was gash. Got a Nitecore (actually got 2 of them now D'oh), and it's a MUCH better charger. So I would always go for them. Although I went for the I4 with the car adaptor (not that I think I'll ever use the car adaptor), but for an extra fiver, it's gotta be worth it. Do you not have an old stereo or something kicking about with the correct power chord? I have a drawer full of cables like that, so I never even thought about having to buy one, lol.

One last question, I think lol. Theres a $60 kit that includes a longer tube (besides the iclear 30's and heads) what is the advantage of having the longer tube kit if the mod only tube is telescopic allowing to fit the longer battery anyway ?
EDIT: I did say I think lol, do we have a discount code for fasttech ? I can't find one.

JayJ There is no advantage other than a more streamline look in the 18650 mode. I would get the basic svd and order a couple of iClear 30s separately. fasttech does not offer discounts as their prices are already cut to the bone.
