That is a lot of money Blownupdolly have you tried any others? I paid £21 the other week to get a huge pair of lined curtains cleaned, which I didn't think was too bad. I have a cheap steam mop for my floors, I love it. The floors dry so quickly now and you don't really need to put your back into it to get the floor clean, just hold it longer over stubborn marks. I'm going to try to use it tomorrow to get some wallpaper off the wall at the top of the stairs, the cat has already helped make a start on it

I will ask wisher, I can't remember for the life of me what we used to remove stains when we both worked in a leather factory together. P.S. Just remebered, I think it was bicarbonate of soda but will double check

Blimey! Dolly, that is sooooo expensive. It might be the time to buy a steamer I was thinking of having my best coat cleaned but am having second thoughts now.

What one do you have Siffy as I quite fancy one I purchased this one www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4069449.htmIt was on offer for £50 at the time from a sale shop I go to in Colchester. It saves me so much time as I have a four bedroomed house and only have carpet in the living room and stairs. I would mop then have to whizz round with a large old towel buffing the mop marks out (I'm a cleaner and I hate mop marks) and this leaves no marks at all. I find it brilliant all round the house to be honest. So easy to use so much so I've taught my 13 year old daughters how to use it...lol There plenty like it out there. I don't know if you have a B&M bargains near you? If so they had three different models at a good price there. I think I would have bought any as long as it cost me £50 or less. Will replace this when it does run out of steam, so to speak.

Sometimes they come up at Aldi and Lidl's for about £30....might be worth keeping an eye out Thankyou siffy for keeping another vaper sane today PS. Nail polish remover pads work on leather furniture. If they are just marks are they not worth a try?

First said he would do it for £40 then went down to £36 but if they got ruined I had no come back on him!! ....errrr no thanks! saphire I would appreciate any ideas of what to put on them. I reckon between the mop and some kind of cleaning fluid it should do the trick. As I said, they aren't badly stained.

I hope you get them sorted dolly, they don't sound as if they are badly stained. Keep us posted on what you decide to do. I have a brown suede jacket with a couple of marks on the sleeves so would be interested in how things go
