Hi all and admins

I'm on the verge of leaving this forum for one reason.
Pop up advertising which is toattly irataitng.
I just commented on a post and had to wait a few seconds for a **** and spanker to finish (marks and spencers) advert to piss off before being able to continue and as well as a pop up ad at the bottom of the screen which you can close but when you go to another page it's back....what the fook is this about annoying members.
Scot at ecr forum has it so you only see adverts which happen to be vape related when you are not logged in....log in no adverts....don't want to see adverts if I did I'd be watching the tv.

Admins sort this out.

I don't have a clue what adverts you are talking about, I never get pop ups on this forum, on my phone ads appear on the bottom of the screen but that's it. ???

Well I get no pop up advertising on here, just the banner for proboards top & bottom you sure it isn't your pc infected with something

Hi Phil . . . I've moved your thread to the Forum Feedback Board.

I don't know quite what you're seeing, but logged in I get no adverts other than the Proboard specific ones which are really quite inoffensive, the only way there is to be rid of them is to pay quite a substantial amount of money each month to be ad free.

I also don't understand philmepowers. The only adverts on this forum are the 2 banner ads for Proboard supports. There are no other ads & certainly no paid for ads so ceratinly not about money - I don't accept a bean from anyone.

It sounds like you have a virus/trojan or malware, to me.

I must admit that it does sound as though your PC is infected with something philmepowers - I don't get any problems, but my laptop is shut down to within an inch of its life.
Even when I use the Proboards app on my phone I only get an ad at the bottom of the screen where it's not a problem.
Try running your antivirus, malware and something like Spybot to clear out the cr*p and then try again. What, you don't have anti-malware!? Guess where you have to go straight away - I use www.malwarebytes.org/ and it does the job for me!

It looks like it isn't a virus etc but a new way of displaying ads on mobiles

I get adds in the banner at the top of my phone from acu lenses to santander, but I have normally rolled down the page before they can load and be seen so not a huge problem.

I am also getting this on my mobile phone. It is slightly annoying, I also just experienced the 5 second wait, not sure what I was exactly waiting for lol!

Right now the advert invading my screen says 'create a free forum!' I think I'll pass!

Oh dear that sounds very annoying indeed. Don't think proboards are doing themselves any favours with that.
I only get the banner ads which are ok, but I don't access this forum through my mobile.
