I though Amazon's free postage was over £10? As long as your order contains a book, cd, or dvd the whole order is postage free irrespective of value.

shame there isn't a 2mm rod as that is the size of most silica/ekwool/bastos people use.

Would the 1.6mm rod not be best for 2mm silica/ekwool etc as then the wick material would be held slightly whilst not strangling it ? I've seen mention of people using a 1.5mm diameter machine screw I think they're called, as they have a tight thread and using this to wrap the wire around and then turning the 2mm silica into it. Thats more of a question than a statement I'm quite new to making my own coils so if I'm talikng out my backside I'd rather be told I am lol.
