I also dont like the look of the Darwin, and the swing arm connection puts me off alot. Also the inbuilt battery which will need replaced and a new one soldered in puts me off even more.I think its over priced for what it is and am more than happy to stick with the Provari.Treat this mod with respect and use the correct batteries and it should last a very long time IMO anyway.

I just couldn't wait for the VV module Imeo's working on... But I'm pretty sure that when it's finished it will def run The ProV ragged ;p Ok, perhaps I'm over reacting, but it will for sure give the Provari a really tough time! I don't speak of the darwin much because although the functionality (VW) is better then the ProV, the whole thing just doesn't make it for me! And I'm a passion kind of dude, at the moment I'm flirting a ProV with an Iatty and that's the deal!

You will never beat a Provari with an I-Atty.I know i had a few problems, but when it was vaping it was the best vape ive ever had.I dont think you can beat the Provari to be fair, ive had 3 or 4 other VVs and they are good but the Provari has everything built in that you will ever need.Am i a fan of the Provari?Hell yes, only mod ive wanted to hold onto and would never sell.As for the Darwin,i just dont like the look of it one bit, that swing arm looks seriously wrong to me,it also looks like a very cheap mod, even though it costs a small fortune for a PV.

A Darwin without the swing arm would be ideal for me. I love my Provari, but it's just a bit too big and heavy to take out. I'm seriously tempted to get a Darwin, but the fact that I can't fit one of my rebuildables, or an Arry, means I'd rarely use it. Must resist......

I agree mate, its a very limited VV and not one that i would consider.I must admit though that i dont take the Provari out much, main reason is incase i drop or lose it. :)If i do take a VV out then its my HOOGE GDVV box another great VV and not to expensive if it should get dropped or lost.

Sorry to put a downer on things, but if you're expecting delivery of a new Provari, you're probably going to see it spend a week or so stuck in customs.
I ordered mine on the 8th..it's just been cleared from customs yesterday.
The main reason (unless you get lucky) is Provape is now claiming the value to be above the custom threshold for duty, and so they are automatically stopped by customs. It's not the charges so much (although i could do without them!) but the almost agonising delay.
And i'm still waiting to see how much customs want too, some people say it's £20 - £30 once RM whack their charges on...i'll let you all know the gen if it's delivered today.

For some reason Aldo, the value has been changed from $20 - $39.99. About $29 is the customs charges cut off figure (£18)...shame, as these were just going straight through when valued at $20, now some still slip through, but most are being stopped and delayed an average of a week in customs.
I see you're in Portugal Aldo, you might be alright and get yours straight through.

You think you are having an agonising wait,i ordered mine 6 months ago and the lead time was a month. As for the customs charges, even if you do have to pay an extra £20 its money very well spent IMO.If you are going to order one then do what Aldo has done and e-mail Provape and tell them you want it shipped as a $20 torch.Tell them if they are not willing to do it then you wont order one, simples. If mine ever broke i would buy another, its to good a mod not to have and i have become accustomed to mine.If im honest,i would struggle without it as nothing else can touch it IMO anyway.

Ouch..a month lead time.
Yep, should have contacted Provape before it was shipped to confirm the stated value, but we ordered a Provape-1 for Chris, my wife and that had the $20 stated value and it sailed through, so i just assumed it would be the same for me...i started reading on forums that the stated value had gone up and was being delayed in customs after it was shipped...oh well, not much i can do about it, just have to be patient shouldn't be long now!

I've had to contact them about my batteries and extended end cap! The cost of those isn't bad but with the shipping on top it's making it over the threshold, I really don't want to be paying £20 extra for a couple of bits!
