I've already purchased them Aldo, thanks so much though, I never gave it a thought. I've ordered the extra length for the bigger batteries as the battery life of these smaller ones isn't brilliant and I really don't want to be without my Provari at any time

I wish you the best of luck Spikey,David should have just left it as it was and continue to ship them as $20 torches.Oh well,as i say,if mine broke down out of warranty i would buy another without hesitation.I hope that makes you feel a little better if you do get charges :)Mine has been great for six months, just hope it stays that way for many happy vaping years.I doubt it will last that long but if used correctly i cant see any reason for any problems to arise.Im just worried when i take mine out incase i drop it,i could do with buying a suitable case to be honest.

Well, it's cleared customs at last, and i've just got off the phone with Parcelforce who have told me my charges are a grand total of....£16.36..not as bad as i thought it was going to be. It will be out for delivery tomorrow (whoohoo, it's like a Summer Christmas!). Yeah, cheers Ian, it does make me feel better reading how you Provari owners feel about them, can't wait now. Chris and i have been looking everywhere for a PV holder/holster and we have found a black canvas holster type of thing, which you thread onto your belt. It's big enough without being too big. It originally came with one of those cheap, market stall 'multi-tool' things, but works a treat for our PVs.

I may just hold back from updating my SD for a while ,I feel the market will go ballistic fairly soon and the Provari will be old hat .Remember the Computer thing starting ? No sooner had you spent £1000 + on state of the art gear within weeks it was ancient technology .How difficult is it for a reasonable engineering electronics company to create a mod far superior than the Provari.

..... How difficult is it for a reasonable engineering electronics company to create a mod far superior than the Provari. If you are waiting for a mod that's "far superior", what are you expecting it to do? It can't be much smaller, without fitting a smaller battery and losing run time. The Provari has all the functionality that's necessary. The fit and finish are perfect. Usability is spot-on. You could have a box mod, maybe with a custom display, but that would just be different, not "far superior". That really just leaves a Provari clone for less cash. Not superior, just cheaper.

"Far superior" That has been said many times with computers etc and yes they amaze with each development .Batteries are sure to become far more powerful and smaller - Atties are likely to become vastly more long lasting and switches must become far more superior to the poor example on the SD .

Hey this is public message to Provape...
If you're at VF then please don't forget that email I sent you today cos you've hurt my feelings excrutiatingly by not agreeing to send me a Provari for $40 inc p+p....
So you're off the cupcake list!!! You'll have to make do with 'poor man's cupcake'

You don't seriously expect a response do you Jo?
David at Provape is selling Provari's hand over fist, they're a fabulous PV . . . he's hardly likely to be lurking on Allabout.
Plus, he has donated a Provari to the Vapefest.
Back to the plot . . . you'll love your Provari Spikey, even with Customs charges. I can't find a bad word to say about mine.

I agree with Clockworks, the Provari is everything in a mod that ANY vaper could possibly need.Ive had loads of mods,so many that i lost count months ago. Most of them have been sold or passed on to family/friends to get them into vaping.I would NEVER part with my Provari as it is the real deal.I dont even hunt for mods anymore as i have what i need with the Provari.Nothing can better this mod IMO anyway.I cant see how its possible to better a mod which has it all and works so well.

Thanks Perpetua, i'm getting a bit twitchy thinking about it. Most people i've read can't rate these highly enough, so i'm hoping to be in the same boat as yourself and Ian really, singing it's praises.
