Can I be so bold and say I have problems believing a word that any MP says especially since the recent scandal regards them fiddling fortunes in 'Expenses' and getting away scot-free while any ordinary person who might not file their taxes properly is liable to prosecution ..

Fair play to my local MP for getting back to me .. after all it is his job and the election is only 4 weeks away .. the tragic realization is, that it doesn't matter at all which party gets in government .. nothing will change noticeably for the better .. labour and tory, they're all the same .. what do these people really care about anyone bar themselves ? .. they pay lip service to us and that's it ..

Anyone else had a reply from their MP yet ?

I only just found your post after I'd 'posted' about the expensive paper / envelope that popped through our letterbox today .. are they trying to impress us by showing how well they spend our taxes on posh basildon bond type notepaper .. still, I was pleased to get a quick response albeit not the one I wanted to hear .. no matter how bad an e-cig might be for my health .. it can't be any worse than ordinary ciggies .. that's my argument ..

Are we all going to end up buying our gear on the internet black market from China if we can't get it anywhere closer to home ? .. I sure hope so !

UPDATE !

As a life-long Conservative supporter, I am saddened to say that I received no reply whatsoever to the email I sent to my M.P. (Andrew Lansley).....which is `pinned` to the top of this Forum-section.

This is especially galling to me, as Andrew is likely to be the Health Minister in an in-coming Conservative Government!.

Even so, I voted for him in the recent General Election & am pleased to say that he was re-elected.......despite the fact that so many of the voters in our Constituency & elsewhere wasted their votes on Liberal Democrat candidates......who`s party is intent on `Electoral Reforms`, which will ensure that every election from now on results in the `Hung-Parliament` fiasco we are currently experiencing!.

Anyway, probably like many of you, I`ve ordered lots of spares & e-juice for my (E-Cigs Classic) cigarette-alternative & just hope that the ridiculous prohibition of nicotine-containing smoking-substitute products is `binned` & that our elected representatives get on with overcoming the, rather more serious, concerns our nation faces!.

I will, however, forward the above to Andrew Lansley, in the hope that common-sense might prevail eventually!.
