I had a letter from my MP today, along with a copy of the ''minister reply''. The gist of it all seems to be that they want licensing of products for the sake of public health but want a level playing field that doesn't favour any particular manufacturer or industry. The letter was on very posh paper and the envelope is of very good quality... I'm thinking about attending one of his surgeries and making this more personal and real. Lynda Lynda, I only just found your post after I'd 'posted' about the expensive paper / envelope that popped through our letterbox today .. are they trying to impress us by showing how well they spend our taxes on posh basildon bond type notepaper .. still, I was pleased to get a quick response albeit not the one I wanted to hear .. no matter how bad an e-cig might be for my health .. it can't be any worse than ordinary ciggies .. that's my argument .. Are we all going to end up buying our gear on the internet black market from China if we can't get it anywhere closer to home ? .. I sure hope so !

Have just emailed my MP .. Following the email I sent on 19th March, today I received another snail mail letter, on lovely posh 'House of Commons', cream coloured writing paper, from my MP, enclosing a response from Gillian Merron, minister of state at the department of health .. I at some of the points of Ms. Merron's letter which are that "consumer safety is of paramount importance" " .. to set a level playing field which does not favour any particular industry of manufacturer" Can I be so bold and say I have problems believing a word that any MP says especially since the recent scandal regards them fiddling fortunes in 'Expenses' and getting away scot-free while any ordinary person who might not file their taxes properly is liable to prosecution .. Fair play to my local MP for getting back to me .. after all it is his job and the election is only 4 weeks away .. the tragic realization is, that it doesn't matter at all which party gets in government .. nothing will change noticeably for the better .. labour and tory, they're all the same .. what do these people really care about anyone bar themselves ? .. they pay lip service to us and that's it .. Anyone else had a reply from their MP yet ?

Can I ask, should the filters be dense or the other type of sponge where there seems to be 'space' in between ??? Oh dear, am not explaining this very well .. I know what I mean .. but I would be surprised if anyone else does

Can I ask, does anyone know, is there a flavourless oil from any other seller, that tastes the same as Wicked's 36mg liquid ?
Or is it a case of Wicked being being the best and therefore costs more ?
Thanks for any responses.

Thanks for the links Foxy ..
This might be a silly question .. can anyone give me a rough idea of how long the mini 901 chargers last before they conk out completely ? .. or do they last quite a while ?
Also, how often does the TECC site tend to have special offers on ? ... just thinking out loud .. no point buying spares if there's a discount coming up soon.

Congratulations - so glad you're enjoying your 901, it's a great starter and there's no need to move to another type other than for the longer battery life. The 901 produces a good amount of vapour without loss of flavour. The shorter battery life is more than made up for with a PCC. Having said that, I'm vaping away on a Tornado with Decadent Vapors' cafe braziliano juice right now! Fox Foxy .. can I ask what a PCC is ? .. am still no up to date with all the jargon .. it's like learning another language.

Mine's a pink mini 901 .. after a week doing great with those, I bought 5 spare batteries, 5 atomizers and another bottle of wicked 36mg liquid ..
This week I ordered an in-car charger and some more liquid .. I feel I've got the hang of it now although I'm still stunned and so pleasantly surprised that I've not even been tempted to buy a sneaky packet of cigs ..
I really would recommend the e-cig to anyone who wants to quit smoking.
