Hi,  I recently moved house and sent an order to ecig uk.  When I tried to pay with my bank card their thread was not working and I had to use my pay pal account which hadnt been used in a while.  I have not received my order and when I queried this they have used the old address on pay pal as the one to send the order to.  Even though I changed the address on the day I used it.  Just be careful if this happens to any of you as this company have said it was my fault even though I couldnt use their system to pay by card.  I wont use them again.

I had not heard of the company that you used, they are not one of the registered vendors on here. Its always a good idea to check on here before purchasing because as well as them having a good reputation most of them also offer discounts.

That's not the store's fault, it's a quirk of PayPal. I've nearly done this myself more than once (and in this case the old address was in a different country!)

With all due respect, if you had updated your paypal address correctly,
Then the vendor would never have known your previous address.
Paypal only pass on the delivery address that you have given them to send items to.

I agree with markm if you had updated your address correctly on Paypal, then the store wouldn't have even known your old address.

This happened to me too with a joosejuice order. Jim was good enough to resend the order, don't know why the PayPal address replaced the delivery address though

Peter it is so easy to get confused with some of the vendors names as some are quite similar

lal when you pay via Paypal they supply the delivery address to the vendor. For a vendor to be covered by Paypal protection (which is very limited in any case for sellers) they have to send the items to the address on Paypal.

I have emailed the vendor and invited them to post for some clarification, because lets face it, it's unfair to be slated without chance of defence.

They have just joined the forum, but do need to apply for Vendor status, so a response may not be immediate.

We have now posted 6 bottles of e-liquid out to this particular customer and we obviously can only post to the address that we are given. The address on PayPal had not been changed and therefore it had gone to that address. Some customers who pay via this method do have the option for the goods to be posted to an alternative address but they need to put this down at time of ordering by putting a different shipping address. We have thousands of satisfied customers who can pay via there credit or debit cards if they choose to, not just paypal.
