Hi everyone.
So, I've had a nitecore i2 for a while now but I'm now looking for a 4 bay charger.
Main reason for this is that we bought our 3 year old a Vttech Innotab tablet thingmajiggy and it's munching through 4 duracells in 12 hours.. expensive!! Can't buy a dedicated battery pack for it so going down the diy route of multiple nimh's!
I already have a 4 pack of 3000mah aa batteries and plan to buy another four to keep in rotation but I'm stuck for a charger!
After discovering how much a dedicated charger will cost it makes sense to buy a 4 bay charger such as the nitecore i4 and then sell my i2. Its not in constant use so may as well use to full potential! Question is, should I be looking at any other chargers which offer more control over charging amps? It must have the diversity to charge multiple battery sizes (aa-18650), and it must be able to charge one battery at a time without any overheating issues..
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Budget wise im looking at £25 or less as money is a bit tight since my baby girl arrived..

Hi g3mmaThat is at the top of the list as I do like the i2.. only thing I'm worried about is the charging rate.. i2 charges at 500ma but ive read that the i4 charges at 1000ma which can cause little batteries to get warm..

Super-ShinyThats the one! Gonna do a bit more research tonight and then put my i2 up for sale/trade tomorrow Roscopecotrain have you tried it with aa batteries per chance? How did it cope? Super-Shiny thats all well and good for vaping as I have spare batts for all three mods but I need to be able to charge 4 aa batts when my 3yr old's tablet dies! Charing one at a time would take forever!

I have a spare. Brand new, never opened (not even unwrapped out it's postage envelope). £20 delivered?

I've had the i4 for ages now and it's great for me. One tip, drip some superlube in the slots for the sliding -ve connections - smooths it out no-end. Not tried it for ni-cad's though.
