Day......1

Step 1.
I have not had a Cig from 2pm yesterday lunch!
I know thats not to long but its my first milestone (baby steps lol!) I would have had at least 3 last night and 2 this morning that have been avoided yay go me!! It's going ok but I'm not going to lie I could quite happily nip for a Cig but I must (and will) resist.
I work from 6am - 2pm and in that time there is no chance of a vape I refuse to stand in the smoking shelter and vape, rules that our sh**y company have enforced! Not saying I expect to go at it all day at my desk but a seperate area or maybe a break room would be brill but will never happen, the thought of my colourful magic wand (as my godson calls it "Ahhh cooool you look like a dragon blowing smoke from your colourful magic wand" not nice being called a dragon lol but i'll take it!) sitting at home with some lovely juice in that I really enjoy will hopefully get me through the day.
I would just like to say thank you to everyone for their help for finding the right set-up and their encouragement to hang in there and stick with it especially Perpetua and Super-Shiny for his tutorials! Hopefully I can 1 day say thanks in person.
 
Just a little advice for new people reading this that are struggling as I have, please stick with it and soak up the wonderful knowledge of the kind people on this forum as without them I would have given up and wasted alot of time and money and still be killing myself with nasty smoke. Also don't be affraid to ask questions, even stupid 1s, the comments you get back from stupid questions are fantastic!

Take it a day at a time and don't put yourself under any pressure to not have a ciggy if you really, really fancy one. Things become forbidden fruit that you just crave even more in my experience if you do that.

Seriously though, glad to hear that you are sticking with vaping ... you are doing the right thing by counting the cigs you don't smoke rather than stressing about those that you do.Keep at it and I'm sure that you will soon be smoke free.

I did that Gemma . . .  had my last open pack of 16 ' emergency ' ciggys that I said to myself I'll have one if I really need/want one.

They sat in the cupboard for 2 years untouched, until I finally ditched them. But it was a comfort blanket for me knowing they were there.
