I suppose everyone is different but for me keeping a pack of cigs in the house is a bad idea. I tried it and all it did was torment me. I felt far more settled a soon as I got rid of them. I smoked for nearly 40 years and cant count how many times I tried to give up. My first E-cig back in Jan was my last smelly cig. Good luck G3mma.

Unfortunatly I have MAJOR shineyitus and like the typical woman I spend, spend, spend so I will have no problems in getting rid of the extra cash but it's going on much better things now!

Keep going Gemma... I've only been completely fag free for about a week now... It's been pretty difficult with the wife still on the stinkies... I have had the odd fag when sharing a glass or 2 of vino ... That's now tailed off completely and I find that a ciggie now tastes awful .... Glad you found your ideal set-up ... Keep going ... You can do this !!

Well done g3mma, and as others have said DON'T PUT PRESSURE ON YOURSELF. I still have a packet of fags in my cutlery drawer from when I stopped over a year ago, and see them every day, not as a backup but more a reminder of how stupid I'd been over the years. I rarely even notice them there now, and am certainly not tempted by them.

For me, it was a mind switch. I was sick of paying more and more for my fags, which were probably killing me anyway, and if I could get the same satisfaction i.e. hand to mouth action... then I thought it would help. I was gobsmacked when, after my very first vape, I've never thought of a 'real' one since.

Thanks siffy and Raffles is going ok at the moment just need to keep on top of juices that I like to keep it exciting and I'll be fine! Perpetua and Super-Shiny gave me a few recommendations so raspberry, harvest berry and lime zinger on the way and just waiting for Carrie to restock FW swedish fish I've heard it's nice
