Well I think I should bite the bullet and purchase a new battery charger for my Vamo batteries. Don't want to pay a fortune for one, just looking for a cheap but decent one.

Hi hissie, I bought an Xstar WP2 on Ebay for about £14 delivered several months ago, its worked very well for me. Its quite compact and comes with a car cigarette lighter adaptor.

I know it's a bit more but if I was buying now I'd get a nitecore. The little extra you pay now will save money in the long run. Currently I have an xtar charger I got from ukecigcabin which has performed really well. Reading about people buying cheaper chargers from the like of fast tech and them failing in a relatively short period of time seems like a false economy to me

Thanks for the suggestions.
Was just looking on Fasttech for a spare vv/vw mod & they sell nitecore chargers. Am guessing their nitecore chargers ain't legit?
I've got an old trustfire one, but I know I need to update/upgrade.

I would be a little carefull with a charger purchase! I have bought a few items from Fasttech and am OK with the result but would not trust them with with something as potentialy dangerous as a battery charger!

My Nitecore charger from Fasttech has been absolutely fine, I believe it to be genuine. Ebay can be a hotbed for copies.

I've been using a couple of Trustfire multifunctional chargers for a while, they take quite a beating from me but I have never had a problem with them. However, a 2650 Battery takes about 12 hours to charge.
Apart from that so far they have been bullet proof.

I have a trustfire and I don't like it at all.
Now have a Nitecore i4. Much happier with it.

Thanks all.
To be honest my Trustfire multicharger hasn't caused me any obvious problems. However, I've had it an age and am thinking I should really buy another one & keep the Trustfire as a spare.
Need a new spare vv/vw mod, so perpy, if Fasttech sell genuine Nitecore ones, I'll may well order one when I buy a new mod. Although I would only need a charger with 2 battery ports.

i4 from fasttech here - no probs. hissie - get a 4 bay charger - you only need 2 now, but for the couple of quid extra, you never know when the extra bay will come in handy. ps- I think I remember ft saying on one of their discussions, if you get in touch with nitcore, they will confirm that the chargers are genuine

I discovered today that my nitecore i2 can charge 18350s. It did two in quick smart time.
I paid £9.70 for it, from Fasttech. It's great.
This is the sort of thing I use Fasttech for. I actually rarely buy anything e-cig.
