PG/VG ratio

Hello AAEC (again!)

Another question popped into my head just now as I'm going to put in an order with joosejuice who have been recommended to me (£1.49 for 10ml?! Bargain!!)

This is the first time I've had the choice of what PG/VG to go for and as a new vaper I genuinely had no idea. I did see a great in-depth guide to starter kits by a chap in Ireland and he recommended 50/50 to start with, would you lovely lot agree with that?

For me personally I don't particularly have a strong preference of strong taste or plumes of vapour so thinking a 50/50 probably would be good for me, but I don't know what else the PG and VG measures can do to a juice?

I would think seeing as most juices are 70/30 pg vg, that either that or 60 40 would be better than 50/50?

Sassy basically PG gives more throat hit and VG gives more vapour (and tastes slightly sweet)

As a new vaper you would probably miss the throat hit so I'd go for 70/30 to start with

PG will give you more throat hit, which can be important for some vapers when they're in the earlier stages of making the switch and VG will give more vapour.

50/50 is a happy medium if neither bother you particularly Sassy.

It really does come down to personal preference. I like a fair bit of throat hit & fair lot of vapour so my choice when available is 50/50

I'm a kind of 50/50 or 60/40 kid where I have the choice as too high PG can give me a bit of a sore mouth.

That said the difference in actual vape are not massively pronounced dependent on device - I'm chugging on some premixed Afro Dizziac which is 80/20, so far from my usual mix and there a fair vapour cloud on the exhale

Im the same, currently vaping some 80/20 chocolate custard mixed with T-Juice Melipona. Tastes like Wheatos lol
