Hi
Got new MVP - does it make burnt taste if voltage turned up to high.
However, main point of post, have been using CE5s (got 4 spare heads and just washed everything), have Vivi Nova tank, iclear 16 x 3 with 10 spare heads (I worry about being left without lol) and iclear 30 that came with the MVP.
Should I persist with CE5 until I have used the heads. (Following advice on here have washed current heads which kind of feels wrong to submerge electrical bits!?). Will i16 be so stunningly different? Are the heads for the 16 the same as the 30?
Have also got some nicotine base and flavours so I can even have a stab at mixing my own!
Also bought some blackcurrant and methold juice which sounds divine, but haven't tasted yet.
So far, not sure this has saved any money - but got everything I will need for a bit I think.

But I can't resist a shopping opportunity so it's entirely my own fault. There are different heads for the 16 & 30, although I haven't had to change one yet to see if they are mix & match. I have seen some folk say they are. For me yes, there's a vast difference between a CE5 and a Iclear16, due to the Iclears having a Dual Coil head. If you try and zap anything with too high a wattage/voltage then you will get a burnt taste. Which isn't nice. You've probably seen our very active Mixology section, so any questions then ask away. allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/board/18/mixology-general

Steve just use what you want, i feel once you have tried the iclear 16 and i clear 30 the rest will be reserved for the spares box, imo they are they best out there for flavour and vapour in the clearo market, i just hate the drip tip on the 30.
Go for it with the mixing, it is fun and so satisfying when you vape your own juices. I love it, much to the dismay of cc lol.

stevelsAs folks have said, the difference between Ce5's and the Iclears is truly astounding as the Iclear are dual headed..much more flavour/vapour. This come at a cost though, they are incredible thirsty attys. Just keep your Ce5s possibly for out and about, then utilise your Iclears for your evening vape.. As for mixing, it's the next logical step in your vaping adventure, just take it slowly and only mix in small quantities to start ( that way if it does go wrong you haven't wasted too much product.) (This is not a validation of DCT devices!!! LOL)

There is a massive difference between the CE5's and the iclears.
Personally I would use the Ce5's out and about just incase you drop it or break it somehow.
Mixing is great as you can mix the flavours to suit your taste buds, I find some shop made juices can be abit harsh and sometimes weak in flavour.

If you mix your own juice and avoid buying more than one or two more things like the MPV then you'll save money eventually. It took me 6 months to break even, but I was £1,000 up after a year.
I think you'll find the iclears better than the others (unless you have a dual coil in the Nova, which makes it pretty much the same as the iclear), although with some juices the difference isn't huge. I wouldn't feel I had to use up the CE5 heads. If you don't have a dripping atty it is useful to have a few clearos around for tasting the juice. If you wash them out each time they should last a long time. I'd use the CE5s for that.
If you like the blackcurrant and menthol you could try and make your own. Menthol is cheap to make but hard to wash out - maybe keep one clearo for tasting menthol juices.

I always expected to use up my CE5 heads, but I suspect somewhere in the master-plan I gave up. You can only turn up the voltage so high before problems start. I rarely go above 4.2v or say 8.0 watts using anything.

My CE4s and CE5s all either ended up traded or binned when they inevitably annoyed me.
Life's too short for rubbish equipment - those iclear16s are a million times better than CE5s and you have 3 of them and 10 spare heads (the heads go on forever on these things) once you try them you won't be going back to the CE5s - backups is about all they are good for.
Personally I fell the for BCC devices in a big way and only use those these days - the fun thing about this as a hobby (as opposed to anything else) is trying new things...
