I started 100% Vaping in early July 2013 and during my first 3 months I spent £538.24p.
During the first 3 months of my second year into vaping, I have spent £30.29p.
Going on this formula, during the first 3 months of my third year into vaping, I should be spending £1.77p or 59p a month.
Mmmmmm. I wonder!

It isn't how much I spend that bothers me, it's how often I can find a good reason to spend that seems to be the problem ......
Jag. (Don't wrap it ..... just hand it over ....)

It's good to see that someone can resist the "shineyitus". Personally, I find it very difficult!

According to the records I've kept in my beginner diary thread I've spent just under £90 in the 40-odd days I've been vaping. Then again my gear is limited - A mummy, daddy & baby-bear set of 400mah, 650mah and 950 batteries, a pair of Evods, 3x Kanger TS3s and a Mini Protank v1. I use these small BCCs as all-day vapes, which to be sure can be fiddly at times when one get's into a gurgle/pop cycle & won't break out, but then again that's why I have several on the go, so I can switch & rinse in the evening. @dosser - While your £500 figure makes me go , I can totally understand the pattern, that is that the startup costs of hardware, maybe the odd failed experiment with disposables (luckily I avoided that phase by lurking on this forum), and then settling on a few, quality pieces of kit. After that, it's basically just topping up on juice & maybe coils/wicks ay? As for me, one of the biggest reasons to vape is to see major cost benefits, so I'm resisting the urge to splash out on nice mods, fat tanks and all the cool stuff - I'm making a concious effort to "make do" with my small collection of BCCs and Evod/ego batteries - Quote below from my diary thread..; Bear in mind the figures above detail my startup costs, £20 of which was my first hardware, the Mini Protank v1 kit - If we just think about juice costs for a vaper who's settled on a favourite regular juice, that equates to what - About a fiver per week or less on juice? My local ecig shop sells a 30ml bottle of Hangsen Blueberry which I'm fond of for £5 and I'm no stranger to sites like JooseJuice which sell nicer tasting stuff for a few quid more. So, assuming I can stay strong and deal with the regular maintenance (ie' washing out once per day to avoid condensation, regular refilling during the evening, etc..) and stick with only using the BCCs, I can see that big savings will come for sure by sticking to the cheap BCCs. I might go nuts next month & get myself a PTv2 or Mini PTv2 and a new battery (maybe a VV passthrough) but that will definitely be something I mull over before I commit. <- Duck's arse

I've been vaping for approximately 6 months now and I've spent close to £600 on vaping. It's nothing compared to the £300 I was spending a month on the stinkies and a lot o what I have spent is just searching for my perfect vape which I believe I have eventually found. I have no immediate plans for buying anymore hardware and this month I will only be buying juice.

The 500 odd quid per 3 month period worked out about average for the first year in that I spent in total £2,300 in the year.
However, going on that I was smoking 40 super king a day before I changed to vaping, I saved just over £3,000 in that first year. That was spent on a caravan.
Also, a fair bit of what I bought is now sitting in the bottom of the freezer and 90% of the equipment is still in use, including my first ever proper e-cig kit, the Vision 1000.
Apart from a lanyard for my Zmax, everything I have bought in the past 3 months is unused and more or less everything I spend in the foreseeable future will be either spares or e-juice for squirreling away.
In otherwords, I now have what I need and until something goes u/s, I cannot see me needing anything for some time to come.
I have an old fashioned Piggy Bank on my PC desk and now, if I have a pound coin in my pocket in the evening, it goes into that. That is my "Vaping Bank". Until there is enough in there, things don't get bought.

I've probably spent about £400 in just the last few weeks I'm just thankful that the resale value of vaping gear is quite good so I can (almost) afford to keep trying new stuff. Need to have more self control though.

We're probably pushing 2k in 6 months which feels ridiculous but when I think about it apart from pg, vg and flavourings the two of us could vape for the next 5 years without spending any more. That won't happen obviously cos its all just too damned shineeeeey

Not spent a single penny on anything vaping related so far this month. I'll conveniently forget the previous 42 and that it's only the 6th of the month.
