I know it's holiday season over there and seems to be lots for them at this time of year but i'm not sure of exact dates, add that to parcels being checked and not sent by customs it's not a good time.

you'd still have the postage costs in the UK from whoever made the order snout71there's certainly some dodgy goings on with FT lately, ordered a Nemesis on September 24 on pre-order and it got marked as dispatched with the usual picture etc as expected on October 09. Tried the dodgy tracking last night and unbelievably it worked but it shows posted on 22 October. Contacted FT about this with no reply as yet, but I cannot get my head around it as how could they give me a tracking number for something not sent yet ? all very strange and will look forward to their reasoning.. lol One thing for sure is they're losing a lot of custom with the shenanigans over the last month. I've a few things ordered from them and mine appeared on tracking on 22 October same as yours Mev Orders were placed 9th October But that's through Singapore Hong Kong packages arrived Monday Maybe its something to do with Singapore Post....Who knows

I am waiting on two parcels from FT posted 29-9-13, on tracking they always came up as "Not found", contacted FT on 13-10-13 and when I checked Singapore Post on the 17th still not found checked again on the 20th and they're marked as shipped to overseas country 18-10-13, I personally think it's a combination of the postal service, customs and Fasttech problems. My tracking number revealed that my package has just been shipped to ATC i assume that means air traffic control headinv for GB.
I think china ship to US first. Then you grt an update on tracking. Then it gets shipped from US to UK.

Just a thought The bigger the order the more chance of getting stung for customs charges. The few times I have been caught has always been with DHL etc so I would rather wait for the slow boat or if I want it quicker buy from UK suppliers.

Just a thought Then, as Mev said, another £3 plus to forward it on when it's got to the UK. So you pay £3 for an item, then say £3 for a group order delivery by DHL, then an extra £1 or so for customs to check it & DHL to process the charge, then £3 for it to be sent on once here........ It doesn't really add up

My order that was dispatched 7th September hadn't arrived, so I raised it with them 5 days ago & got.... "The postal union has launched a wave of scrutiny on 9/10 which covers all major postal airmail shippers in Asia. All packages get delayed as they queue up for the new mandatory x-ray scans. We will resend the package or fully refund you upon your request at the beginning of next week." They don't have to do anything now though, as it finally arrived. It looks like we all just have to accept that post from China really does take the slow boat & we need patience. If we don't have any at all, then we stick to a UK vendor.

Finally got to use my refund from FT tonight - a moment of disbelief and pissed-offed-ness ensued when two of the gift certs came up as expired and I was 'WTF'? Anyway, the others hadn't expired and all told they totalled what FT owed me, so that's all right in the end. So, I shall continue to do business with them, after all. Although quite why they couldn't have stuck to their promise in the first place, I don't know. I suspect trouble arose when it was handled by two or three different people, each with their own interpretation of events and attitudes to them.

Got pissed off with Fasttech yesterday and cancelled my last two orders that were supposed to be shipped on the 4th and 5th November. The items were an Innokin VTR and a Smoevesto Kayfun 3.1 clone. I Ordered these items within an hour or two from when they went on the site. Both wen't to restocking the day after they were supposed to ship and I have a feeling that they didn't ship any at all. They seem to me to be getting the payment from everyone then buying them themselves from the suppliers. This could well be the last straw for me with them after the Nemesis debacle.

snout71What you could do as your vamo is going to take an age to come, is order batteries from focalecig who are now shipping Malaysia post and are cheap, and then if time is getting close to getting vamo and batteries looking delayed order a 2nd set from Torchy. Having 4 batteries is desirable, 2 is not really enough but 2 is fine to start with. I suggest the UR18650FM sanyo for value for money and really good spec from focalecig. If you want panasonic 3400mAh from focal check out the price differences between unprotected button tops and unprotected flat tops. To find batteries on focal search for battery cell and all will be listed. focalecig.com/search/keyword-battery%20cellJust trying to provide options to Torchy to source batteries and may help others looking to save a few pennies.
