Decisions decisions... Maybe I need to get both an MVP and a vamo! Maybe I need to have a word with myself So for out and about it seems that the MVP is the right choice, but the vamo is the way forwards for home vaping. The MVP does look a bit weird to me at the moment, but it's probably the practical option at this stage, and if I get on with it I might not need anything else - I'm leaning this way. I'm not sure you meant it as a positive dreamylittledream, but the idea of having a lightsabre vape is still appealing - I guess I'm of a certain age and geeky persuasion Well I have both (I need to have a word with myself too probably - I'm currently lusting after a Zmax mini for no good reason) - and I am both of a certain age and a certain geeky disposition And if you get a Vamo you can get a wrap like this

You know I'm just thinking I need at least one more battery (18650 for the VTR) and a better charger, and this is really calling my name: www.fasttech.com/products/1395800If I can wait two weeks for FastTech that would only be the price of getting the batteries and charger locally, and get me a Vamo for free (I'd go for the stainless v3 as it has a replaceable top and I've heard the Vamo de-threads easily)

The V2/4/5 all have the same body design. That's not my Vamo I should point out - although I would very much like an R2 wrap

I have both a MVP and a Vamo. Only use my Vamo when my MVP needs charged, which is every 2-3 days. Imo, the MVP is hard to beat, it looks and feels great and I like the consistency I get with it more than the Vamo.
Vamo is ok, nothing special but I really love the MVP.

I was where you are right now a few weeks back ... I've come to the conclusion it's really all about the looks and feel of the device that matters ... I went with the Vamo because I prefer the cylindrical look rather than the 80's mobile phone look .. But they both do a similar job .. In fact all the vw mods do the same thing ... Perhaps I don't appreciate the finer points of it but 8 watts is 8 watts ... Isn't it ? .. I don't understand how some people swear the 8w they get from their vw mod is any better than the 8w another mod kicks out ... The atomiser is the thing that makes the difference IMHO... Have a look at protanks, davides... And my favourites Iclear 30s / 16s... That and your juices are what makes the real difference

I've got an itaste mini, a Vamo and an MVP - all 3 can kick out at 8w but all 3 give a different vape. The itaste is definitely reedier - between the Vamo and the MVP I suspect its more about the airflow but the Vamo does seem to deliver a slightly different and to my mind preferable hit. Vaping is made up of 3 things - the battery, the atomiser and the juice - change one of them and the experience really does change

I'm not a fan of the MVP ..... hard to say why, it does what it says on the box, but I just don't like the feel of it. For me, for everyday use I'd go for the Vamo SS VE (V5) if only for the fact that it is built like a tank and will stand up nicely to the rigours of daily use. Or you could get a Smoktech Sid. Or an Evic. Or an SVD. Or a Zmax V3. Or ....... the list goes on and on. Jag. (Spoilt for choice.)

I don't understand how some people swear the 8w they get from their vw mod is any better than the 8w another mod kicks out ... The atomiser is the thing that makes the difference IMHO I know its not a VW device but the principle is the same, a fresh 4.2v battery in my dingo with my KFL at 1.8ohms and normal juice is fine, same set up but with my nemesis and my juice tastes burnt until the battery gets down to around 4v. In terms of watts, that should deliver 9.8w with a fresh battery but I know the dingo is not doing that. I read something a few weeks back about how VW is delivered and on most devices it is not consistent, sometimes 7.5 and sometimes 8.5 with variables in the middle. Im sure someone with better knowledge than me can explain it better

I would go with the MVP its a great bit of kit and the battery lasts for days also you wont need to go to the extra expense of buying batteries and a charger because its all built in to the mod
