to set off the smoke alarm in my flat vaping?

Any ideas? Tis only me here vaping 60/40 pg/vg?

wasn't anything else to my knowledge...made a right din LOL

I know some smoke alarms can be set off by aerosol and showers but unless you are vaping like a train under it I am not sure

The most common type of alarm, called an ionization detector, can be very sensitive. They are NOT smoke alarms - they go off when their sensor detects that a stream of atoms has been disrupted (ionized) which can be caused by steam, dust, or any form of vapour, not just smoke.

I found a can of Coca Cola in the cupboard and not knowing its age I opened it and poured it down the sink and all the smoke alarms went off

If you think that was weird, I used to be a pipe smoker and never had a problem at all, then changed the detectors over ( well actually local fire brigade did them free!!)
Sods keep going off if we have friends round for a vape session. I think OneDay has a point, I have been told there is an adjustment that can be made, but not sure how.

@johanino, There are 3 Vapers in my household and we have to keep the living room door shut when we are all together otherwise our smoke alarms scream disapproval!
