Thanks everyone, some good choices to look at, but alas they shall have to wait, just got an unexpected whopping bill (cars eh!) so he'll have to put up with the evods for a tad longer, hopefully filling the holes will put him on for now!

Hi Sassy .. Firstly let me thank you for your welcome to the forum. I can recommend two alternatives to the evod .. if you prefer a cooler slightly airier vape the Davide mini or if you prefer a warmer, tighter vape the iclear 16. I have both and although the iclear16 would be my favourite of the two, it is dual coil and tends to use a lot more eliquid and the dual coils are beyond my recoiling abilities. On the other hand the Davide mini is a cinch to recoil. Both have no leaking problems in my experience.

In my opinion protank is the best option. I love it! I noticed a big difference in the quality and quantity of smoke. Only the original e-vod that's it.

Any dual coil set up will be thirsty (two mouths to feed lol). However we had best get used to it as all the newest clearos are heading in that direction.

Don't matter whether it's BCC or not  ...  the latest BCCs are dual coil ... see Phil Busardo's review of the Aspire also paulymeatballs review of the latest Davide
