The only way I am going to find out what is going to work for me is give it a try and I think I may start with evod, So now my market research goes on to find the best deal Can I suggest an alternative to finding the best deal, which is to buy from whoever you trust the most (probably still vapeescape) and also buy wick and wire and rebuild the heads? It really is very easy on evods - easier and quicker than, for instance, sewing a button on something - and you'll save more money per hour doing that than on shopping around. As usual, P Busardo does a good job of showing how link. As an Essex soul girl you may not have wire clippers, but scissors will do just fine, though you would need pliers.

Can I be annoying? (Yes Dave, you normally are). I never had 100% success with evods. Out of 5 or 6 at least half were leaky. Since swapping to mini protanks, things have been much, much better. I don't rebuild my own heads (not unless I have a disaster and run out) I simply buy 2 x 5 packs of replacement heads from myepack and use them until they run out. I go by taste, not by "expected life span". I was told (from a reliable source) that the coil can last weeks, but if it tastes bad, it's out of there. Sometimes I get 3 days, sometimes 2 weeks. Seems dependent on Juice and which way I get out of bed. Still, when I first got into clearos, the heads were £2.50, sometimes £2.99. Now I get them for £14 for 10, even 3 days is enough for me at less than 50p a day. 50p a day on juice and 50p a day on clearo heads. Good enough value for me. (Ignoring the big hardware of course... )

Not once bad experience yet For a beginner I would have thought the EVOD is spot on. All to easy to muddy the waters with the massive range of choices suppliers etc. I say, stick with a UK company with a UK dedicated website. Stick to who you trust, and who has good reviews from customers. Ideally visit a local B&M (Brick and Mortar shop), even better as you can then get up close and personal with the device before parting with your hard earned cash all the best!

I have been reading all day and thing I have overloaded. I had a look at the video with regards to recoiling the head and yep that is not beyond me. I could quite easily do that. Soooooooooooo I would need wick and wire but still trying to work out what goes with what so much terminology am getting a bit lost. Is there a dummies guide to vapouring with a shopping list. Grrrrrrrrr I will get there in the end icon_shoppingm

With heads being anywhere from £1 - £2.50 per pop, doing 3x or 4x in an hour (which will probably seem slow by the time you've practised on a couple) will easily out-pay finding that one supa-special site that sells Evods at like 50p less than everywhere else, or ego/spinner batts a pound cheaper or so - Other than the odd rare deal or spec-offer the prices online all seem much of a muchness imho, I'd rather buy from someone I trust & spend a couple extra quid on a largish order than spend an eternity and 3 or 4 different sets of postage flitting form site to site. I've had good experiences with both Paradise Vape and MyEPack, for what it's worth. I don't yet have the skills or tools to do my own heads but I sure as s**t intend to do so when the stock of heads I've got begins to run low..

Hmmm, thought I was happy with my V3 rebuildables (and in fact I am) but watching the P Busardo clip has made me want to try the EVOD BC tank and have a go at recoiling. Two questions though, is it a larger capacity than the V3 as I get through about 2.5 fills a day and where do I get one of those cool resistance testers?

I can second the information above about recoiling; it is really easy once you have the basic techniques under your belt, and I haven't bought a new head for my Protanks for over 6 months now. On the odd occasion that I use a Nova I have about 6 heads all recoiled and ready to use sitting in a ziplok bag. Wick (2 and 3mm silica or 2mm Ekowool) and wire (.2 kanthal is the preferred gauge) will cost about a fiver for at least a metre of each, and will easily last a month even allowing for some mistakes and experimentation in the early stages. I reckon my recoiling costs less than 30p per head, as opposed to at least £2.50 per new head. There is no more satisfying feeling than vaping on a home-coiled head, especially if it's taken you 3 or 4 attempts!!
