Hi guys
I'm wondering if someone can help me. I am using evod cartomizerd but I am finding the replacement heads are only lasting me about 2 days then when I'm vaping hardly any smoke is coming out and I'm sucking and sucking ( if that's the right terminology) and very little is happening. I'm having to replace the heads every couple of days. I've tried cleaning them but still they are a really really tight draw. I've got through 5 replacement heads in the last 10 days! Anyone any ideas what I'm doing wrong??

Tempted to ditch them for something that lasts longer than 2 days, although I love them for the first day!

Sounds like it the juice caramelising on the coil, what juice is it?

Sounds like it the juice caramelising on the coil, what juice is it? Yep, was about to say the same. I'm on week 3 of my evod coil and still gives a good vape.

It's a vanilla custard I mixed myself and I'm also using kings custard. How would I stop the caramelisation ??

Or is there a different set up anyone would recommend for custard users.

scarletyup that will do it every time, any sweet juice will caramelise no matter what your using. sadly it's a fact of vaping that this will happen. What resistance are your heads? Can you Recoil/rewick? For goodness sake DO NOT THROW YOUR USED HEADS AWAY..if you can't recoil, plenty of folk on here are willing to help out.

Or is there a different set up anyone would recommend for custard users. Custard is a coil gunker, especially if you add extra sweetener . . . I use 1% sweetener and 1% Vanillin Crystals that Rom has linked to Scarlet. My Evod heads last 1-2 weeks on average now. You could try the Iclear 16's, they're juice monsters being dual coil, but the heads last a long time although I haven't tried putting a custard flavour through them: myepack.co.uk/clearomizers/iclear-16.html

scarlet i had the same problem a couple of months ago & eventually found out that it was my heads that were causing this, the ones i used originally & the spare heads that caused this were slightly different to look at because of the centre post on the heads, the ones i have no problems with are all short centre post & the heads that i had the same problems that you describe were longer centre post. Many on here said it should not make any difference whether the centre post is short or not but i only ever use short post heads now & don't have any problems.
