I thought I'd try the iClear16s this morning - I'm not sure I like them, but that's another thread my problem is this: The iclear doesn't work on my MVP. the iclear works fine on the itaste3.0 evods work fine on the MVP and the itaste. Any ideas?

Assuming they are screwing on fully, then the only other option Is the positive connection not meeting in the middle correctly.

Try pulling the pin down a bit in the iclear base.

Try pulling the pin down a bit in the iclear base. I know that should work, but it's doesn't - even if I pull the pin down so I can feel it engaging before the thread takes, it still won't give anything through the MVP. I'd try another one, but as I'm not sure I like them, I'd like to keep them pristine for best trade value rather than opening a load of packets.
thanks for then replies - is three anything else I can try? It's not a major issue as I can vape it on the itaste, but it's quite frustrating!

You could test the connections with a multi meter to find the problem, looking For both continuity and resistance at all the connection points.

The MVP may not like the low dual coil resistance on the IClear16's ionian, mine doesn't with any dual coil stuff unless I turn the setting down really low. Even then it's not brilliant.

A standard iclear16 coil is around 2.1ohms? The only thing i can think of would be the pin sitting a little higher than normal, iclear16's should work fine out the box with the mvp 2.0, if you did try another unit it may work, you may just have a dodgy one on your hands. Try cleaning the 510 connection on the mvp, happens to me all the time bit of dirt causes some units to not fire.

Both iclear 16s and 30s at around 2.1 ohms perform great on my MVP at 4.5 volts (around 9.5 watts) ... any lower and the vape just ain't there ... mind you, it does nowt for battery life and juice consumption!

After I got back from shopping I thought I'd have another go, and now it seems to be working! I thought I'd test the resistance, and the MVP gave a reading, and then I vaped it and it was fine.
I don't know what was wrong earlier, probably user error - thanks everyone for your quick replies.

...and back to not working. I prefer the cooler vape of a BCC, so I'm not going to worry about it too much. I see pro tanks in my future...

ionianGood Man, BCC the way to go, I know that TDC's like the I16s give more out, but at a cost of heavy juice usage and if your vaping sweet stuff,I would hate to see the state of the coils after a while. However whatever rocks your boat is what counts
