Now that looks a bit ... er ... tricky!!! Think I'd only have a go at that if the atty is basically at the end of it's useful life because I don't fancy ruining one that is still working OK. Don't have anything like the tube mentioned for getting the spike out in the first place, either! Do you reckon I'd get away with using needle-nose pliers (carefully!) Steve? I've got a couple that I keep meaning to try the baking soda & white vinegar cleaning method on, but that hasn't happened yet, either!

I've got a screwdriver set that has a small hex socket. That fits perfectly. You just need something that can grip the pin, then rock it gently until it comes loose.
needle-nose pliers should be ok if they can reach the pin ok.

Just been to TW and end caps are out of stock (Good management then) and noticed it states end caps are only 1 use items although most get much more use . Typical! Amazing how many things run out (or have just run out) when TW do their sales. There's a couple of flavourings I wanted to restock so when the sale comes up - out of stock. Even phoned to ask when they'd be getting more. Couple of weeks... so that'll be after the end of the sale then... probably. My luck all over. I think the thing you need to be most careful about is removing the rubber ones gently - you CAN tear them if you pull at the edge too hard. I use a couple of sheets of folded loo roll to grasp it with and then it is quite easy to remove. Saves getting liquid all over your fingers, too. Steve - thanks for the extra advice, I'll have to dig about and see what I can find if I get brave enough to try this!

Those are the ones I buy and they are the new rubber ones. I bought 100 of them in the last yoyo sale.
I think you may have looked at the larger mega tank caps. They are showing out of stock.

I would advise wearing some glasses when dry burning the coil. I had a few hot spits.
I normally do three second bursts then let it cool for a few seconds.
It can take a while to burn the crud off, then you can see the coil. When I finished the coil and wick looked like new. I put a couple of drops of fluid onto the coil before putting the pin back in.

New rubber caps for tank arrived today along with 5 more tanks and also a seperate delivery of eliquid with flavours i have not yet tried .6 x 10ml Double choc - Banana Mallow- Strawberry -Bubble gum - Pear and Cherry Cola .Tried most but can't say i am impressed with any .Strawberry tastes a bit chemical - Pear was my first try and cone atomiser packed in at time of trying giving a horrid burning taste so will report back on all when i am sure equipment is working ok.Cone tank atomisers could well be the ruination of me because at £6,7,8 a time they aint cheap and knowing they can pop after hours worries me slightly - so out of the 3 i have one is duff one good now in use and the original pretty much done with i feel .Need to get some more - Has anyone spotted any on offer at any of the suppliers say for 4 .

Ah, but roll ups/ciggies were never so much fun as this Birdy. Were there ever any Tobacco Smoking forums as well????
