However, as someone who worked in the field of Consumer reviews as a freelance writer I know only too well that you need at least a weeks use to give a valid opinion on almost everything. You'll be glad to know that I'm still using mine on a daily basis and my opinion hasn't changed one bit since the initial review Was a lucky, who knows but I can only give my opinion on what I receive.

Of course. And in this particular field what works well for one person on one device may not do so for another person. I'm not questioning your integrity Todd .... just the Aspire. Jag. (Gentle fella really ....)

And that's why I state that folk should watch other reviews and check the forums out before purchasing anything, I'm just a bloke in a shed with my own little opinion Never thought you were questioning my integrity, I'm from Fife, we don't have any

Are you still on the original coil, Todd? Original coil in my davide and the nova. I use 50/50 which I personally think helps, curious if the people getting flooding are on 80/20, thinner liquids?

Further to my post on page 7, I stripped down the duff head that came pre-fitted in the Aspire to see if I could spot what was wrong with it. I could see nothing amiss but what I then noticed was that the end of the 510 positive pin (the end that shows) did not have the slot across the bottom that the two spare heads have. Since one of the spare heads has been performing great for the past few days, I wonder if this is what caused my "no air flow" problem?

75PG 25VG no flooding, the 3.5ml aspire has calmed down and I can vape that dry now without gurgling. I do prefer the smaller Aspire but only because it vapes bloody marvellously on an automatic ego.

There seem to be some very mixed reviews and opinions on the Aspire. But then, the same can be said for the much lauded Protank 2. At the end of the day, each individual will need to find out the bottom line for themselves. If this was not the case everybody would have a Provari with a Vivi Nova sitting on top of it! Jag. (Nothing wrong with sitting in sheds. Any Drambuie going spare?)

Well that is the third Aspire coil to die at the end of day 2.
Oh and by the by, I do have a Viva Nova on my Provari. I know, I know. Boring old fart that I am. Tease-smiley

It would seem you are giving the Aspire a decent work out, don't give up yet cos if you work out the teething problems, I might get one!!

I think that they are indeed a great vape ... well up to the iclear30 standard and it doesn't heat up a SS drip tip the way the iclear does. If the issue of head quality control could be sorted and the price of the clearo and replacement heads was to come down (as it surely will if it becomes more popular or when Fasttech get their hands on it) then, and only then, I would recommend it.

Just as a matter of interest DiscoDes .. do your Aspire heads all have the slot cut across the end of the 510 positive pin? The first one that I tried didn't and I couldn't get an air flow with that one. The two spares have got the slot and I have been vaping without problem since Sunday on one of them.

@freefromsmoking
Yes all the heads had slots, the problems I had were bad connections with the centre pin too short & BAD flooding with various ration VG/PG juices, various fill levels tried.
