I realise it will depend much on the amount you vape per day, but assuming vaping to replace 20 normal cigs per day, how often will the clearomiser need changing - I use the Ce4, and how will I know when it needs changing. Sorry for nerdy questions. I started vaping earlier this year, but fell by the wayside and took up the old habit again! Now back with a new eGo t which is loads better than my original equipment, so hope to pack in the analogs for ever this time.

If you get some denture tablets or bicarbonate of soda. Chuck it in a pot with some water. Take the clearo apart as much as you can and chuck it in there overnight or better yet 24 hours. Rinse well and leave to air dry and you should be good to go almost as new. Makes things last a lot longer. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2

Everyone differs emmita some clean them everytime they are empty, others when they remember or have a certain day when they clean clearos, around battery contact points & screw threads etc. With a Ce4 i would imagine you would get about 10 to 14 days out of it, but the main indicator is taste, if it starts to taste funky the clearo is ready for changing. Just a couple of tips, never let the liquid fall below approx one third & swish the liquid regularly around the clearo to keep the wicks moist otherwise you will get dry hits & burnt taste that you cannot get rid of. Not many peeps stick with the Ce4 long & usually move on to the iclear16 (drinks juice quick as it has double wicks) but a lot on here recommend them, evod (bottom coil & wick) or at the moment Protank mini & davide mini which are both bottom coil & wick & glass tubes.

emmitanot only how much you vape, but what type of juice you vape can dictate the life of your CE4. The sweeter juices do tend to clog up your coils a lot faster and sadly as the CE4 is not recoilable when that happens even after soaking the performance/ flavour will drop off. My OH only vapes menthol can get 3 weeks plus from hers. Hope this helps

I was lucky to get a day out of a CE4.
No, I cannot explain why. For me, they were appalling. I'd fill them up, have a few vapes. Soon enough, the dry hits/bad taste/gunky coil would arrive to ruin my enjoyment.

I never really got on with CE4s either, although mine lasted a little better than djs'.
One thing I found was almost guaranteed to kill them I found was attempting to clean them - 75% never worked properly after my attempts to rinse them.
Bottom coiled clearos are just so much easier to look after and more reliable...

Everything seems to last longer for me, no idea why lol my 900mah batteries last all week without charge and i vape the same amount i would have smoked, i usually end up charging them for the sake of it I got 3 iClear 16s with my first order and they are still going strong at just over 5 weeks, at 4 weeks i cleaned them and one tastes a bit funny but the other 2 was like brand new again. i'v ordered some new heads from fasttech and 2 more iClear 16s but these seem to be doing a good job

I really struggeld in my first couple of weeks with my evod coils, but I followed some advice from dreamylittledream (I think!) and I started cleaning my clearos about once a week by taking them apart, rinsing every part and the leaving them to soak in a shallow bowl of water and washing up liquid for around an hour (with the exception of the flavour wicks - they get rinsed and then dried gently with paper towels). I then dry everything with kitchen roll and leave it out for 12-24 hours to air dry, before putting it all back together. Using this method, I haven't changed a coil in 2 weeks and everything is working fine. YMMV but it's saved me stressing about buying new coils!

CE4's? I have a load of them in a bag .... unused except for two. Personally, the dreaded CE4 is the very item that started me on the road to a Mod and a decent Clearo/Tank. I no longer get dry hits, juice in my mouth, or gurgling. Because .... after two weeks of use I gave up on the dreaded CE4's. Jag. (Cannot abide CE4's ......... )

I just retired that old fella last week Perpetua ... he was still firing ok but was no longer able to produce decent flavour (bit like myself ) .... got a full 5 months out of it with a wash and dry burn every 2 weeks and that was vaping at 9 watts. ... I bought 20 heads from Health Cabin a month or so ago and have only used one ... at this rate I will be using the iClear 30 for the next 8 years!!!!

Old one out - new one in - result NO vape.........HELP PLEASE. I have left it to absorb the new liquid for about 20 minutes, but no luck. No heating up, no vapour Nada!

Do you have any others? Or another ce5 to try that head on? Sent from my Galaxy Note 2
