hm just been on the ejuice me up ready reckoner

and even thought my nic base is all pg ..it is still telling me to add 1.6 mls of pg with the 13.4 mls of nic base
now i am confused as i didnt order any pg other than the nic base
13.4 pg nic base at 54mg
1.6ml pg
9ml vg
6ml flavouring @20%

to make a 30ml bottle

what ratio of VG/PG have you entered?
what % nicotine are you trying to get to?
You still need to dilute the flavour and nic base to get the required nicotine strength, that is why.

100% pg @54mg
required 24mg
aim 70pg/30vg
do we leave the flavour at 100pg everytime ???

If the nic base is 100% PG then yes, you can buy either VG or PG nic base, I have both.

As I said above it's telling you to add PG to get the required 24mg nic strength.

Most flavours are PG based so these contribute to the % of PG in the mix.

If you you think about it, 54mg diluted by 50% will give you 27mg nic strength so as you want 24mg you'll need to dilute the nic base by just over 50% made up of flavours and VG & PG to bring the base strength down to what you require.

You could try upping the VG ratio so you don't need any extra PG.

how is it i got 4 bottles of 54mg nic base from jj

2 are clear like water and the other 2 or slightly yellow in colour ??

Could be from different Suppliers perhaps Kev millerkev, there can be a colour differences, although probably more likely that some is a little older than the others.

Nic base does tend to change colour/go darker over time.

YW Kev . . . my bottle of  ' in use ' 75mg base which I just keep in a cupboard and which started clear, is now the colour of quite concentrated widdle.

hiya perps just another quickie :-)
when people talk about the blunt needles 14 16 18 etcetc
why do you need em ?
i just thought you could take the liquid up a syringe and then put it into the new fresh bottle
ie say you want 6.7ml
use a 10ml syriringe to get ya 6ml then use a 1ml syringe to get a better .7ml reading
hopefully one day in the not too distant future when my parcel arrives back on earth from mars i will see with my own eyes what all the fuss is about :-D
