Hi all been vaping now for over 5 months and off the stinkys for that long too. Been using my Ego-T and was looking at the new Clearomizers that have come out like the glass dual coil etc. What are the benifits over these compared to the normal standard clearomizers with the sting as a wick. Do they take less cleaning and is it easier to get a drag from them? Sometimes I find the Ce4/Ce5 can play up a bit and I struggle to inhale anything without giving it some quick sucks first lol.

The world is your Oyster! There are so many alternatives that it would be difficult to know where to start. I suggest you read through some of the threads on here, and use the search facility. You are sure to find a mine of very useful information. Jag. (This ... that .... this .... that ..... )

Dual coil means more flavour/vapour and more warmth in the draw. Especially if they're top coil like the iClear ones. I'd argue also a quicker fire up. I'd highly recommend having a go with an iClear16 - a huge improvement over a CE4.
Glass/perspex tanks protect against some juices that attack plastic, like citrus ones.

Aspires still seem to be getting very mixed reviews. I'm holding back on ordering one.

I just posted about clearomiser on another thread. The bottom coil clearomisers still have the string wick (silica) but it's very short as it doesn't need to reach down into the liquid. Clearly (if you read my posts) I am totally sold on the mini Protank, but iClears are good too. What's your general location (no postcodes or nuffin.. ) maybe I could help, or you could make it to a vape meet sometime?

With those Protanks do you need to keep buying new wicks etc or can you just keep washing them out? I clean the ones I've got now and dry burn the wicks after they have dried but just fancy upgrading.

Thanks was looking at the Aspire BDC ones but will have a look at the iClear 16 now I have tried most and find the iclear16 among the best. one of the good things about double coils is that each coil does not get stressed so much, the load is shared between the two. The iclear16 I am using now is about 10 weeks old and still going well without having to replace them. I think I have done 3 dry burns.

paulmlpss, BCC tend to give a cooler vape than Top coil, but less probs with the wick drying out as it's always in contact withe juice. Just a heads up though, a lot of folks complain about leaking through the mouthpiece...99.9% of the time it's just condensation..a quick wick out with a tissue or pipe cleaner and your good to go, But now a word of warning....Curiosity of all things vaping can lead to a serious case of incurable "Shineyitus"

I'm near Walsall West Midlands. Great! Once a month I go through there (I park at Bescot or Tame Bridge) to get the train. I'll PM you if I'm passing.

Thanks was looking at the Aspire BDC ones but will have a look at the iClear 16 now If you hold fire there will be a wealth of botton dual coil stuff out soon. You already have the aspire, davide dual coils plus vapeonly have just bought one out here www.vapeescape.co.uk/Vaping-Spares/Clearomisers/Vapeonly-ET-S-Glass-2.5ml-Dual-Coil.Html plus the protank 3 is due pretty soon. To be honest the iclear 16 is a good place to start. One of the few clearos i have owned that never leak. The heads last forever and at the momemt there are some amazing bargains around for them. It will be a huge step up from your ce4. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2
