swanner before you make a final choice, run it past us & don't hesitate asking any questions, no matter how daft they may seem

Can you link to the kit please swannerFrom googling, it looks like the kit has a KR808D thread, so it means that most cartomisers wont fit it.

For a ciggie lookalike, that's not a bad kit. However, you will be constantly recharging the batteries & yes it does have a KR808D thread so you will be very limited with were you can buy replacement cartomisers to fit it.

Hi swanner and welcome to the forum. I know you've already had loads of advice, and I don't want to deluge you with more, but PLEASE don't spend any more on cig-a-likes. I've only ever used one as an emergency backup in the car, but many others here (and @djs in particular!) will advise against them because of the cost and lack of flavour. Instead, get yourself a couple of batteries (the higher 'mah' rating the longer it will go between charges), a couple of clearomisers (all sorts available, but avoid a CE4 as it is disposable, whereas things like the iClear16, Mini Protank and Protank are all of the type where you can remove and replace the atomiser head when it dies after a couple of weeks, saving you the cost of all the other components! If you get really into vaping, there are many of us who rebuild the coil using wire and wick, saving even more pennies. Don't forget you will also need a charger too!! As far as juice is concerned, Joose Juice (someone linked to it above) do some great deals - £1.49 for a 10ml tester bottle, and about £7 for 30ml after using the discount code for this forum AAEC12. Better still, the price will include a BOGOF, and you will actually receive 60ml of juice (the 2nd bottle will be the same mix, strength and flavour - simple another one of the flavour you ordered!). Nobody has mentioned strength - something like 18mg would be a good starting place; if this doesn't hit the spot buy a bottle of 24mg for those occasions when you need an extra hit, and if it's too strong, you could buy the same flavour but a lower strength and simply mix the two together. I'm sure someone will give a mathematical example for you - I can only count up to four (well, I am a jazz musician!). Please do let us know what you intend to buy before commiting, we might be able to guide you somewhere even better. There's nothing worse than spending hard-earned cash on something which disappoints or just doesn't do the job properly. Suffice it to say that if you bought yourself a couple of Spinner batteries, a couple of Protanks and some spare heads (don't forget that charger!), you will be future proofed for at least 6 months, and all for a weeks worth of ready-made ciggies!!!
