I am also a complete newbie and luckily found this site and others that helped me into the world of vaping. i smoked 15-20 per day for over 20 years and stopped immediately 16 days ago when I rcecieved my Riva 1100 from www.vapeescape.co.uk/Deluxe-Vaping-Kits/VE-Riva-1100-Deluxe-Kit/Vape-Escape-Riva-1100-Deluxe-Kit.html as recommended as a good set up (I am sure there are equally as good ones out there). I am very very pleased with it. It comes with 2 batteries and produces great vape and flavour.
I was lucky enough to by-pass the cig look-a-likes by advice from these great guys on here.

This might be a cheap and cheerful kit to start with. I can totally recommend their " lemon menthol " its gorgeous.

Hi and welcome swanner I started a few weeks ago using the kit mentioned in the first link and not had a stinkie since. My biggest problem is choosing the next flavor to try.

My O/H is also very un supportive and anti smoking - she can't accept I have a nic habit that I don't particularly want to give up. I had to chuckle the other day as I was vaping in the living room and she came in and asked what the nice smell was - when I told her she went off in a huff (pun intended).

I found this group after I started vaping and they have been sooooo helpful.
