Hello BenC and a huge I'd recommend joosejuice.co.uk/ for liquids, they are only £1.49 for 10ml taster sizes so you can try loads and find out what you like, personally I've never tried any tobacco flavours, I just don't like the idea!

Hello and Welcome BenCGreat suggestions by everyone, Kits are perfect but what you do have to look out for is what E-Liquid you are wanting to get, what i do suggest is 18MG which is for an average of 20 per day. And something Familiar to Cigarettes just to start with, because what happens is in time you remove all of the harmful chemicals which are contained in Cigarettes and you just gain the addition "Nicotine" so therefore Tar is removed and the cilia hairs on the trachea begin to grow back and you regain more taste... so you will begin to not like the tobacco and move over to fruity tasting e-liquids. I wish you the best and good luck! Welcome to the family... Vapour! Regards Darren

So quick update... Finally got round to ordering the kit, managed to grab the last stainless steel one and a selection of different flavours to try. Hopefully it will be here by Saturday.

Good news Ben. Keep us posted . . . your batteries should come with enough factory charge for you to try straight away, whilst you wait for the other to fully charge.

the 'caramel tobacco' from joosejuice was a nice starter I found? To be honest it just tasted of caramel, but its apparently tobaccoish...and it vaped nicely! From my 3 weeks experience it was a good starter and very pleasant (especially when all the talk on forum of fruits and mints freaked me a bit... at 1st!) I've since enjoyed joosejuice apple pie ( a sweet pastry taste with slight tang of fruit?) but only after 2 weeks leaft on shelf ( steeping) and I never EVER thought I'd get into flavours ??? goes to show eh Just order in small amounts and give everything a try I say!

Hi benc. I'm also new to this forum, and quite new to vaping. As you are doing I started with a kit, though as mentioned above, it was finding a suitable juice that finally got me to make progress. I was at 30+ a day for more years than I care to remember - we'll over 40 anyway. I didn't immediately cut from 30+ to zero - but very quickly was down to less than a pack a day. I'm a couple of months into vaping - and am now down to 1 or 2 ciggies a day - some days none at all. I've moved on from the kits and now mix my own juices and have started to make my own wicks and coils. I'm still struggling to cross the finishing line to ZERO cigarettes a day - every day. But I think a lot of progress has been made - if I can reduce to (nearly) ZERO, from where I was - it will I hope give "reason to believe" to anyone thinking of giving vaping a try. Good luck to you. It's never too late to Vape...

Hi BenC, I Smoked rollies for, Oh Lord the best part of half a Century , very Heavy Dark Shag, over 100g a week and the few things I've found are.... 18mg nicotine strength is enough, any more and I begin feeling ill, Im not Stopping Smoking, I'm Taking up Vaping, its NOT like having a Rollie, it is different, if you dont find "Sweet" flavours are yoyr thing, there are LOADS of alternatives AND, you may you find one particular Flavour is fantastic for you, the next day/week you can't stand it!! An extra (quality) battery or two is a must. Good luck!!

Welcome Benc Another recent convert and only just finding my way with the juices. The tobacco ones were OK to begin with and I certainly couldn't entertain any 'fruit nonsense'. This lunchtime I spent an hour in my local B&M trying all manner of loveliness and my tobacco flavours are languishing well out of sight! have had a few stinkies along the way but they're getting few and far between now which is so liberating! Good luck with it all and remember to come back with any questions - there's always someone with a wise word

Thanks for all the encouragement I eagerly waited for the postman to arrive on Saturday which he did just as i was heading away for the weekend, and as i was in a rush i forgot to take the package with me . Managed to have a quick vape Sunday night. Started off with jamaican fruit punch which kind of reminds me of Fanta strawberry and kewi, nice flavour which stuck in the mouth and nose. Then some menthol tobacco, i liked this one found it to give just the right hit of menthol. Then it was onto strawberry ice cream which i could hardly taste. Didnt vape at all on Monday while i finished of the last of my baccy. Yesterday (Tuesday) was the day i officially started vaping, first aniseed because i love black jacks, and then RY4 which i found overly sweet and sickly. All in all apart from twice when i had craving for the smell of proper tobacco i cant think of a reason why id go back.

I myself cannot stand anything with a tobacco taste. Vaping and flavours is a journey of discovery, which can sometimes be frustrating, keep trying different flavours, only buy small amounts, till you find a few that you really like. And if you do weaken and have a cigarette don't beat yourself up! just count the one's you don't smoke.

Hiya BenC You'll find that some juices improve over time. 'Steep' (toss them in a drawer or cupboard and forget about them) for a week or two and you'd be amazed by the difference in flavour. I'm new too and when I first heard about steeping, thought to myself, how different could it possibly be? A few weeks later I'm LOVING a juice I couldn't stand when it first arrived. It's great fun discovering all the new flavours and if you keep an eye open around the forum, vendors post some good deals so it won't cost the world. Good luck and enjoy!
