My vamo v5 arrived today and I am more than pleased with it, it is big in 18650 mode but the vap is great. My son walked through the door from work and I said do you like my new toy, so he screwed his topper on it one puff and the first words out of his mouth were wot a clean vap, that's with the topper his being using all day on a ego battery the vamo was on 5 watts. What more can I say. nice, where did you get yours ? how long did it take to arrive ?

Wouldn't the iClear30 (or iClear30S) look better (and last longer between fillings) on a Vamo? I can't recommend the Panasonic NCR18650B enough as a battery - holds way more charge than the EFest/AW ones. Worth a couple of quid extra. They come in 2 flavours, protected and unprotected, what are these ? which should I get ? ty.

Hopefully someone who can keep details in their head for longer than a nano second will appear soon, but I am pretty certain that you want the unprotected. I certainly use those batteries (unprotected) in my SID, which is a similar device. I think that the protected ones are larger and may not fit, and also that the protection can mess with some devices functionality. Taking into account that I am of course always right ... there may be some unfortunate typos in the above that need to be corrected by a passing genius

Unless you've a mechanical mod you want unprotected as you don't want the mod's electronics and the ones added to the battery to interfere with one another. Any VV mod will already have short/overload/reverse current protection.

I have two V5's and all the cons are far outweighed by the pro's. You might need a forklift to use it though ........................ Jag. (Pumping Iron.)

Right guys, got the vamo SS, i30(sure i also ordered protank, will chase after it) , 18mg juice and a charger. MyePack were very swift so gratz to them (waiting for battery from Amazon) I know what to do with charger and battery, also I noticed the SS takes 1 or 2 batteries, worked that out too. My problem is that the vamo SS has no instructions, neither does the i30. 1.Any idea on what/how to put juice into i30 ?(I do NOT want to experiment on this, lol) 2. vamo v5 has 3 buttons and a display, what/how would I set it up?to what values? (no battery yet to experiment) ty all again for being helpful

Re The Vamo:
Vamo v5 - user guide
upon changing batteries, or when the unit is in standby: Quickly press the power button 5 times to turn it on. press the power button to vape as desired. Note: There is a 10 second limit on firing. quickly press the powjer button 5 times to turn it off (back to standby).
how to use the menu: press the power button momentarily to light up the display, then keep pressing "+" and "-" at the same time for 5 seconds to enter the main menu once you have reached the main menu press the "+" button to adjust the main menu and press the "-" button to select your choice from the sub menu do not press any buttons for 3 seconds to exit the menu
the menu choices are: power voltage: You have the option to put the device in either "power" or "voltage" mode lcd display: You can adjust the display to show either "voltage/power" "battery-life" or "resistance" when the power button is hit. Note this setting is not saved when changing batteries. lcd on/off: You have the option to turn the display "on" or "off" while firing
voltage and resistance information: press the "+" button for 3 seconds to display current battery voltage level. press the "-" button for 3 seconds to display the resistance of your atomizer. to select between mean (avg) and rms, press the "-" button for 10 seconds and the mode will be displayed, repeat this procedure to select the other mode if desired. if you press the power button and the oled screen displays "low resistance" that means the working resistance of your device is under 1.2 ohm, it will not fire. if you press the power button and the oled screen displays "low v" that means the battery voltage of your device is under 3.2 volts, it will not fire. Change your battery.
