Newbie here :) advice re: VAMO V5 needed

As he was bleating on for the first 5 mins, I was thinking 'hmm, that 510 looks pretty flush with the top cap, and then, after about 8 mins, he fits a protank to the vamo, and there is no gap - certainly not one as big as the one I posted over on the other thread.

I did have to watch the whole thing though, as the bloke is on a different planet. Maybe something to do with his last atty.

As a new vaper it did show me the difference between the v2 and the v5, I do love my vamo but to be honest I think they are so badly made that it's pot luck how big the gap is. Just had a closer look at mine and the gap is just under 2mm.

Sorry if I just wasted half hour of your life.

NP mate - as I said, Entertainment value 10/10.

Think I'll send it back, as I can't be doing with that huge gap (I tend to bounce things off the floor far too often, so need it to sit flush)

Reading around the forums I think if you start dropping it the 510 will strip or even worse something inside will fall off, I only use mine at home, but I still like it.

Exactly - that's why I want it to sit flush, like it does on my sentinel clone. I've got a couple of ego beauty rings coming, to help strengthen it, but I think this one sticks out TOO far.

Just realised my panasonic batts won't be here till 6th dec !!! Not sure why as amazon said they have been despatched, is it arriving by camel from the Sahara ? (which shouldn't take 3 weeks)
Ordered some cheapo ones that will get here tomorrow

Flavour wise try and get some vanilla custard ....or grants vanilla custard (haven't tried it)....lovely vanilla taste should replace the stinkies quite nicely (I was into vanilla baccy for a while)

Best of luck with your new toys...I don't really use my vamo much. I like my sidewinder - www.vapingthings.com/SIDEWINDER_18350_OR_18650/p1311952_8229985.aspx. I still use the variables sometimes but only in sos. Iclear 30 on it and I'm one happy bunny

By the way if you didn't realise with the iclear 30 you unscrew the top cap and fill down the side but not over 3ml - be careful and look at the markings ...should have instructions with it

Ah, Amazon always state pessimistic timings, but I've heard good things before about ENERdan's times (from Germany)

I went on vapingthings website and didn't like the layout or options ! the web layout isn't very clear(IMHO),and can be confusing. I didn't find enough choice in many of the categories

No worries. I just love my sidewinder. It's a clone from the GLV (great lakes vapor) which are very expensive but still. I bust the GLV in 2 weeks. Despite repairs has never been the same since ..all I've needed for the sidewinder is a new spring ...
