Ok so, vamo been working perfectly (think its a v2)
Until last night, when fully charged batteries started registering as low. Tried numerous different batteries and the tried them in another vamo and they work, yet in this one they don't?
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

imogensmummy, if your problems persist then I'm happy to have a look at it for you. Will only cost you postage.

try raising the centre pin a tad. dont yank it up. just gently lift it slightly all the way round. need a little screwdriver or pin. remove battery first

If you find a device is getting really hot then stop using it - remove the battery if you can, switch it off, find out whats going wrong before you reactivate it. Rechargeable batteries can become dangerous if over heated.
