Hi All, Looks to be a very useful forum. Bought a "shisha time" (says that on the battery) vapourisor on Wednesday night for £18.99 and been on it since Thursday. Firstly I've given up 'giving up' cigs for now, I just don't have the will power to make it stick even with the usual gum/patches etc, but this thing is amazing. I'm only a 20-30 a day smoker but I go mad when try to quite normally! So first question, the product I've bought says shisha time on it, and had company name on packaging both of which I've googled and can't find anything about. It has a 1100mah battery which I believe is a good thing? and kinda looks like the "Kanger evod" from what i've searched, with the wick near the battery. Guessing its a clone? will I be ok with it for now? seems to work. Second question, the thread on the device seems to be the same as on two friends devices and the end you suck on seems interchangable (though mine has more powerful battery). Can I just buy new standard ends, i.e. are they interchangeable, will the break on my battery? My device doesn't take a lot of juice and leaks sometimes so thought I could try a different end?
Third question, I bought some 16mg raspberry with 48%PG/20%GC on box which is a bit harsh on my throat and seemed to get bit of tightness in the chest in first two days.I then bought some 18mg cherry from another shop and seem to get less harshness and rarely tightness in chest, but this bottle doesn't state PG/GC content.Should I buy some testers from somewhere like juice juice what PG/GC would you recommend for me as it seems from reading that not everyone has this problem.
I have searched through forum and got some info about PG/GC but I must be thick as not getting it. PG carrys taste, gc gives vapour? or is it the other way round? some say low GC required if get tight chest, but also read opposite!
Thanks in advance!!

Hi You should be fine with different endy bits, can't say for sure without seeing it, but pretty sure you have a 510 connection which almost everything uses. I would sugest iClear16s from personal preference, or a mini davide or protank. Not sure what GC is, I think you mean VG? Some people are sensitive to PG, and some to VG but that is rarer. Stand wisdom is that PG gives more flavour and throat hit and VG gives more vapour. I personally would wish that all juice producers stated clearly the entire ingredient list on their bottles, but this is very rare. Different vendors are different, it isn't just the PG/VG levels that effect things it is the type of flavour used and also the quality of all the ingredients. Most common cause of tight chest is too high nicotine, but certain flavourings can cause this reaction in some people. It can also be caused by stopping smoking (temporarily) Don't be afraid to ask more questions, in a few weeks you will understand it all just fine, but the beginning is a little confusing for most people

Hello & welcome boyofford if you could post a pic of the "Shisha" e-cig battery you bought, or a link to were you got it from, we should be able to tell you if it's 510/ego compatible

boyoffordOdds are your battery is fine, but if you post a pic of the bit where you screw in the end you suck on (which is called a clearomiser) then we can confirm it. The clearomiser probably isn't the best. Evods are pretty robust and you'll also probably enjoy the vape more than what you have. Another favourite at the moment is the iclear 16. Personally I put my evods in my jeans pocket without worrying about them leaking, which I don't do with the iclears. I prefer the vape on the iclear, some prefer the evod. Show us a pic of what you've got, and we'll tell you what it is, but chances are about 3 to 1 that it is a CE4 - a slightly outdated clearomiser but lots still about so often found in cheap kits. With the CE4 you throw it away when it gets gunked up (happens after a week or so - maybe a lot more, maybe a lot less, depending on various things). With more modern items like the evod & iclear you just change the bit inside it which heats up the juice - costs maybe half as much. "48%PG/20%GC " makes no sense to me. Normally it says something like "80%PG/20%VG". Anyway it is a good idea to try a few different juices. Unfortunately the sample packs all seem to offer different flavours, but no choice of PG% (and often no choice of nic strength). www.vapouriz.co.uk/e-liquid-store/?filter_size_0=10ml has some VG juices, but someone will come along with a better suggestion. Anything you buy, check out the discount codes allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/1148/cigarette-liquid-vendors-discount-codes?page=1&scrollTo=23191

boyoffordWelcome onto AAEC, Sounds as if your clearo is a BCC (wick is near battery) Likewise your head sounds to be a standard 510/ego head. in respect of PG..this gives the greatest throat hit and carries the flavour VG is slightly sweet and gives the vapour. Everything will seem a tad confusing to start with, but stick with us and we will help you through it.

WOW large response very quickly! I've took some pictures on my phone of device... Can anyone tell from these naff pics if it'll work with other stuff? Wick is the white bit of flimsy plastic near battery end of 'clearomiser' thing I think. Meant VG/PG sorry! Liquid is definitely 48%PG/20%VG though, maybe rest of % made up of other stuff? Thanks peops!

Looks like an evod or evod clone to me, with a standard battery. So most clearo should work with your battery, and you can pick up extra heads for your clearo. One tip though, get a second set of everything as back ups!
