I Got up at 4 this morning and grabbed my VTR with a kayfun 2.1 full of cocomel and a nemesis with a kayfun lite full of GVC, that'll do thought I Off to work I went, in the car I have a Kanger ts3 on a vv passthru battery with about an inch of cocomel left in it, I'll fill that up later thought I In work I made a cuppa and switched all the computers on and sat back whilst waiting for them all to boot up, time for a vape thought I Pressed the button on the VTR and it lit up red - bugga, I forgot to put a fresh one in, no problem thought I I got out the nemesis and put it on the desk whilst I clicked a couple of start up options on the pc's, A collegue walked over all bleary eyed and picked up my cup in order to make me another cuppa and whilst proceeding to the door he realised that my cup was full, I was so busy watching him that I never noticed that my nemesis was actually being stopped from rolling by that very cup that had been removed and it rolled off the desk and dropped to the floor Nothing that hadn't happened before thought I I picked it up and pressed the button to make sure all was well and the button was stuck! the magnets in the switch had shattered in the impact and jammed Bollo*ks thought I I went to the car and got the passthru and noticed that the juice was almost gone, no problem- I'll fill it from the u-can that I keep in my jacket thought I That's when I remembered that I had been using it for dripping purposes the night before and it was still in the living room at home No problem, I'll just take the passthru up and use a kayfun on that till the VTR battery has charged thought I Was just about to plug it into a usb port when a manager stuck his head round the door and pointed to a sign on the wall that said plugging unauthorised equipment into company computers was prohibited I dismantled the nemesis switch and removed the magnet pieces and found that the switch was so well engineered that I could use it without the magnets or springs and gravity would allow it to work as long as I held it upright when I had released the button I can do that thought I What I didn't do was remember to lock it when I put it down on the desk, without a spring the switch just connected to the battery and fired the kayfun 2.1 till the wick burned I wondered what that sizzling noise was now I'm in a position where even when the VTR battery had charged then the kayfun 2.1 would be useless and the 3.1 wouldn't fit. I emptied the juice from the 2.1 into the TS3 and plugged the passthru into an anker 1000mah power pack and spent the rest of my shift vaping from that. I was quite happy with that, it got me through nicely. Then as I was packing away my gear into my bag to go home I noticed something shiny at the bottom of the bag - It was a GGTS fully loaded with a fresh battery and and odysseus with kayfun conversion full of cocomel that I had put in my bag last night for vaping today at work

they're a bit strict at your place arent they? least you're allowed to vape Company policy says e-cigs are to be treated the same as tobacco cigs so I'm not really allowed but a blind eye has been turned for the last 3 years None of my colleges have any issues with it. I'm never that disorganised as far as e-cigs go though, I normally have back up plans for my back up plans I normally leave the units that I'm going to use for the day on the side next to my keys, fully charged and tanks full Which is why I grabbed the two things closest to my keys I normally have spare batteries and spare juice and wick and wire and they all live in my bag but for some reason I forgot to put them back in the bag when I took them out to check them Blakey + early morning shift day 1 =

You had a bad vaping day blakey...sorry but, I was laughing all the way through reading your efforts to get a vape out of 'anything' that would work! My warped sense of humour, I couldn't even empathise with you as I have never really wanted to vape when I am out and about, never think of it. Now then, when I am at home and all my kit seems to be going awry, I do have tantrums that would outshine any 2 year old. At least you seemed to be in control of your emotions, so well done for that. There must be a moral in your story somewhere !

For a horrible moment, I thought the catastrophe was going to be that you'd only bought one of something, rather than your normal heir and several spares Blakey. How awful would that have been.
