BCC's and gurgling

I've never been a fan of BCC's always found the taste muted and the draw too airy. Not to mention the constant leaking and gurgling.

Now I've been using a vapeonly mega BCC for a few weeks. I actually really like it. Nice draw. Good flavour no leaking but god does it gurgle lately.

It seems they work great for a few days then the gurgling starts. I wouldn't mind but I get little drops of scorching hot juice when I try to vape.

So, how can I stop the gurgling before I give up all together and bin it.

I don't know. I'm using two now and have been using them for three days, no gurgling at all. The only thing I do to prevent gurgling is keep them upright. Most BCC's tend to gurgle if you lay them on their sides.

If it isn't that, then I'm stumped.

i have the same problem with evods - my protanks are less problematic. Storing them upright is certainly a problem, as i tend to keep a loose one in my bag for emergencies.

When the gurgling starts, I clean out the air tube with a rolled up piece of kitchen towel, and also dry around and under the coil. You'd be surpised how much condensation seems to get into the coil fitting! This usually improves things, but if not, it's time to give it a bath.

I always store them upright. I also clean them when they start gurgling but they are gurgling again within ten minutes. I spend more time cleaning than vapinng.

Occasionally cleaning them doesn't stop the gurgling.

I myself would not touch them with a bargepole in a re-building perspective but i know you don't re-build so all's good

I do the same as Ionian or tip upside down & tap on a folded sheet of kitchen roll or tissue. I do find though, with Protanks, they really bet bad when it's down to a quarter fill. Top it up again & it clears. ???

It's so bloody annoying. It spoils what would other wise be a great tank and I don't know how to sort it.

I recently switched from the iclear30 and 16s to the new DBC Aspires and they are brilliant ... never a leak, gurgle or dry hit no matter which way you hold or set them down .... and without a doubt, the best vape you can get this side of an RBA imho.

I haven't really been looking Ross ... I only have the 19mm viva nova style with the pyrex tank, and other than the 1st one which I got from kernow vapes, I got my others from Pink Mule when I was ordering my Scuba and Diver.

Postage up to 2kg weight is 50 Danish Krone (about £5.60) and delivery take about 6 days.
