Using Baking Soda to Clean Coils

I have bought some baking soda simply to clean my iclear 30s.
How much do I need to use and how do I use it?

Disolve a bit in some warm water and leave them to steep overnight

Is baking soda the same as bicarbonate of soda

I always wondered this and never got to the bottom of it i just thew some into some cooking and Oh my i should of looked into it

tbh i don't think it was baking soda or bicarbonate of soda i put in it, whatever it was made me

Yeah it's the same, looked at the ingredients lol.

Also tried brushing my teeth with it to make them whiter but thats another story lol

but, if it's bicarbonate of soda it should just have one ingredient!

Yes. Its proper name is sodium hydrogencarbonate, but it's tough to persuade even chemists to say that.

A teaspoon full in a small glass tumbler of warm water should do the trick. Sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) is the chief ingredient in Steradent.
Bicarbonate of soda is also known as baking soda, but don't use washing soda (Na2CO3) which is much more alkaline and is useful for cleaning greasy items, and also for neutralising spills from car batteries.
