thanks mandy, i will have a look at them. ive had a quick look at the mixing calculators and "as usual" im a bit confused as to how you make the base mix. if i have nic @ 72mg, i cant find where it tells you how much Propylene glycol to add to get you base mix of ie 24mg. ill wait till i get all the gear then ask some more. raggy........

ok, all the gear arrived. i only had 50ml empties so i washed them in warm water then soaked, then washed in hot, then soaked in warm water with bicarbonate soda for an hour, rinsed, then dried. i think there clean i then made up 2 mixes of 10ml. the first was just a tobacco mix: FA golden rollie. the mix is as follows, hope im right here. end amount 10ml @24mg with 2% flavour 72mg/pg nic = 3.33ml PG = 6.47ml FA golden rollie = 0.2ml second mix: end amount 10ml @24mg with 2% flavour x 2 flavours ie 2% of each flavour. 72mg/pg nic = 3.33ml PG = 6.27ml FA golden rollie = 0.2ml FA caramel = 0.2ml does that sound right to you guys?. they are both very clear looking, the tobacco/caramel is a very slightly discoloured clear. im not fussed about it being coloured just thought maybe it should be. raggy.......

It will change colour as it steeps. The amounts look about right. There are calculators you can use eliquid-recipes.co.uk free app for ipad and you can share or keep your recipes private

With that calculator change the values in the orange boxes then add your flavour name and percentage

Sounds right, although you have your PG amounts the wrong way round for each recipe. GR does go a nice golden colour after steeping, I now mix it at 3%.

Your second one has 6.47ml PG. Should be 6.27ml. You have just transposed them when writing the post, that's all.
