My OH thinks Im addicted because I'm constantly taking a vape! Come to think of it I am!! Can you have too much nicotine???? Simple answer is yes and your body won't be long in letting you know ... headache and nausea are the most common symptoms ... either vape less or cut down the nicotine strength of your juice ... it takes a little time for every vaper to reach a satisfactory balance ... some chain vape but at very low nic level while others vape less often but at high nic levels and most are somewhere in between.

I'm constantly taking a vape! Better than constantly smoking a cancer stick, don't worry about it and vape on and drink plenty of water EDIT: if you feel a bit light headed and a bit of nausea than slow down a bit, get into a routine of what makes vaping comfortable for you.

Smokeyjo75 well done on nearly a week! If I'm at work I vape about as much as I used to smoke. However, when I'm home it's hardly ever out of my gob, BUT I do get a similar feeling from when I 'oversmoked' and just leave it for an hour or so. At least you know it's not burning money when you put it down. Your body will tell you if you're overdoing it. ETA: Sh*t... wish I could type faster, FFS and Rom have given you your answer.

Smokeyjo75 - you are addicted - that's the point but your addiction is to nicotine, not vaping. Your habit will stabilise as you get used to it. I vape a lot more than I smoked, at least in terms of puffs per day, but I'm not smoking. That's good for me, good for my wife, good for my friends, it's just good. As FFS says above, your body will tell you if you've had too much. I've done very little this afternoon, so my evic hasn't been out of my hand. I'll take a vape very few minutes, but I won't be sucking the life out of it constantly like you would do in the few minutes that a cigarette lasts. It's a similar, but different, habit. Hopefully your husband can get on board with the fact that you're not smoking, and be supportive. I've been very lucky - my wife has been great, even with all the new gear arriving from the postman.

My oh supports me somewhat lol he is glad I'm giving up the smokes but doesn't fully understand the whole vape thing and I feel I'm trying to justify myself! I think he thinks that it's just a new toy for me ... But I will show him !!! Hahaha. I'm loving not smoking ... Currently using myepacks vanilla and also butterscotch . Spearmint was awful xx

We're all addicts, we've just chosen to swap the delivery mechanism for our nicotine addiction. BUT: - there aren't the 4,000 chemicals we breathed from burning tobacco - we don't smell - our houses, clothes and cars don't smell - we're not subjecting those around us to second-hand smoke - we're not restricted to one vile taste - we're not spending as much money - oh, and we're not going to die from our habit.

Thanks for all the replies. Chrissie I'm on 18mg x It might be worth trying a higher nic content juice. But as others have said, as long as you aren't getting any side effects, i wouldn't worry about it

Only been vaping just shy of two months here (2nd attempt after a 4 year lapse
I found that when i first started, and because I smoked 20 strong cigs a day that iinitially started on the 24mg juice and my itaste mvp never left my mouth.
Late in the evenings I did start to feel naucious - reading up I guess I overdid it on the nicotine a tad.
Cust down to 18mg now - The cravings for a cig only hit me very occasionaly, but I still vape pretty much most of the day and night with the occasional break (lol not just to sleep)
I probably get through about 6ml a day at the moment.
Going to drop the nic down to 11/12 mg after xmas but still trying to find that perfect flavour, mixing my own, so probably will still vape constantly just less nic.
