Gurgling Protank

This may have been suggested before so sorry if i`m posting what is already known.

Every BCC I have tried has always ended up gurgling even though I read post on here, which although very helpful didn`t seem to solve my issues with gurgling 

What I have triedthat works for me is to place a very small piece of cotton wool around the base of where the coil/wick screws to the 510 base....hope that makes sense 

Since I used the cotton wool I have had no gurgling at all in my Protank or other BCC`s I have

Thanks Griff - this is really useful and supports my theory that (at least for me) a large part of protank, evod and mini-PT woes are caused by a poorly made coil unit, where the o-ring doesnt seal into the base properly.

I will try this fix when I next have issues!

what mix do you use Griff? I havnt experienced gurgling so far, I do mop up the plastic cap on refill as its always got gobs of liquid on top, and have experienced no issues (though I do enjoy some crackling and popping ) <<no gurgling. If I do, I'll definitely bear this in mind, thanks

I do sometimes, so I'll keep my eye open for that issue, I haven't much used my pair of protanks, but that's only because I'm using my itaste vv's at present and mini protank looks better on them. The protanks are for when I get my mega mod (for Xmas)

I fitted another 'o' ring in that space, no problems so far.

ETA:  A flat type 'o' ring, otherwise the coil unit will sit too high.  Similar to griff's cotton wool idea, just to make a better seal.

TBH the couple of times I tried protank on my itaste vv I couldn't work up a decent draw - its seemed like hard work to get any vape flavour and/or plumes of smoke...my face muscles hurt trying!! ??? mind you, I may have had wrong oHm coils? I havnt worked that part out yet

Sounds like a duff coil unit, try another one.
