Which ratio??

Hi all... well im in day 7 of vaping and  not one stinkie since then  *very happy*Just wondering whats the "popular" pg/vg ratio of juices. Im currently using myepack dekang liquids whilst waiting for jj juices to steep... but finding it quite harsh/dry on the throat.

VG will give more Vapor
PG will give more Throat hit

I tend to use 60vg/40pg

EDIT: Also bear in mind Nicotine levels also increase throat hit so if your levels are high you can decrease the PG level to compensate for it.

I think when first stopping smoking we all crave the throat hit, I did so liked high PG ratios, now I'm over that I prefer 50/50 or higher VG

With my first mix kit I did 5ml each of 10/90, 20/80 etc. I settled on 50/50, so felt I'd wasted my time. At least it satisfied my curiosity.

its a bit 'how long is a piece of string?' scenario. When I first started vaping (all of 5 weeks back) I wanted throat hit and satisfaction but within a few weeks I found throat hit ( ie high vg) a bit rough...so I lowered my mix to 70/30 >>to 60/40 pg-vg. Nowadays I like more vapour, so I think Im actually smoking, rather than my throat feeling ripped off!

All I can suggest is play it week by week in early days

Hey Smokeyjo75 and a big huge for your first full week without the stinkies!!!

I prefer a 60/40 or 50/50 mix, find too high a PG mix does make me cough, particularly if I'm outside in the cold or walking and vaping, although I used to hate walking and smoking at the same time too

Usually mix at around 80% VG. I always buy my Nic base as VG undiluted with water. i.e., not aqueous VG.
I then dilute it by 15% with 7.5% Vodka & 7.5% Deionised/distilled water.
The PG comes from the flavouring and the balance PG. (if the flavour is PG based)

I don't get a cough as such with high PG, but I do find it dries the inside my nasal passages.

Payday tomorrow so will ordering somemore samples from joosejuice and maybe somemore clearomisers for my Evod x u think I need anything else?

  need????  lol... need has nothing to do with it Smokeyjo75 !!! I have bought enough "stuff" over the last few weeks to stock a small shop... did I need any of it?  Nah, absolutely not!  But I do like it all!!!

On a serious (ish) note, as long as you have a decent spare battery, and a few clearos and spare coil heads for them, then you're all set   *shopping*

Dekang tends to be PG heavy, unless otherwise stated Smokeyjo75 . . . you could always drop Ash an email or PM if you wanted to check for certain:
