hi I got a pro tank 2 last week put it in my mvp2 and added some banana and hazelnut mix from vapology. Got some vap but no anywhere near what i expected. Took this out put my iclear30 back in and this then didnt work, had to mess about with mvp2 pin , pulling it out, taken me 3 days to get working. put pro tank 2 on 2 other batteries ego's and although it seems to work I have the same issue. have to suck like a trojan to get anything. it doesnt have marking on the tank so not even 100% sure its genuine but seen some on youtube without any markings. (got it from a market stall wont name cause issue is more likely me being a newbie)
So decided not to put back on the mvp2 as i dont wanna have to mess with pins again. I did try pulling pins out a little on the ego battery's think i did it. also pulled the pin out a little on the pro tank again think It came out a bit.
So finally the question is , what else can i try , what could be wrong?

Try changing the coil head (you did get a spare when you bought the Protank?) as there can be different tolerances in them. Also when screwing them on to whatever battery device DO NOT screw it up tight, just tight enough that it does not wobble and makes contact.

If it's too tight, it can push the pin down on your MVP too far and damage it, or at best you will need to pull it back up to get it to work.
What might help is to take the coil unit out, get some pliers and pull out the little metal pin right at the bottom just a little bit - one or two mm at most. Then put it back together and give it a try. This will ensure you are making contact.
If it's making contact but the draw is too tight, it sounds like the air holes in the coil are blocked up. Best thing to do is replace the coil unit - you can get replacement heads from just about any online vaping vendor.

Well any good vendor would/should have advised you to buy at least one spare, coils can go at any time, they only have a finite time in use so a few spares is always a good idea. Our mantra here is ALWAYS HAVE BACK UPS! and then HAVE BACK UPS FOR YOUR BACK UPS! Your problem is patently one of bad contact between the centre pin of your MVP and the pin at the bottom of the Protank coil, easily solvable when you know how. Have you see the You tube video on how to lift the centre pin on your MVP? - Perhaps someone will be kind enough to post a link in this thread?

For an ego, any will work. The lower the ohm rating the better the taste, but it will eat the battery life quicker. I'd say get the 2.2s as it's the best compromise for your battery.

At the outset most people on here have experienced what you're going through, it can be a bit of a learning curve at first but keep asking and we'll keep trying to help. Once you've got it mastered (and it will not take long) you'll be glad that you did.

Hmmmm no spare coil and no marking on the tank - methinks it not be a genuine Kanger Protank 2.
The real ones are laser engraved Kangertech Protank II on the silver bottom part of the tank and come packaged with a spare coil head and a ego beauty ring.
Draw problems (where you can can't any draw that is) on bottom coil devices are usually down to the coil head - a new one will probably sort the problem

Lower the ohms the more power you are pushing through the device, more power will give you more vapour and 'hit' but also runs the risk of burning the juice which tastes revolting - on a fixed output device like an ego only outputs at 3.6v I'd go for a 1.8 myself but a 2.0 would work pretty good too. 2.2 or 2.5 ohm and the result will be a bit insipid on an ego for my taste

mixed views then , well its about taste , dont care how long the battery lasts withing reason and it is a 1300 mah. so maybe lower to 1.8 ohms then
