I never learn... have done it so many times... and am STILL doing it! Washing various clearos and heads in the sink, under the tap, without blocking the outlet. Just washed out an iClear16 and sure enough the top bit of the head disappeared, never to be seen again. If I had a cat, I'd kick it (sorry all you cat lovers!), but I can't believe how stupid I am. Gaawd... that's another £1+ I'm going to have to spend. So this is just a friendly warning to all.

Raffles strip out the sink trap underneath the sink, with any luck it will be in there. Good Luck

And even worse I've reassembled and filled up then realised I haven't put the white top bit on !!! Total waste !

I just followed a youtube tutorial on 'how to clean an iclear16' and yes, just like the video bloke I 1st forgot to reassemble with rubber top bit I had to wash it, it was hideously gunked up, though I'm not sure how much life is left in it...

Get one of these flour sifters and throw all your small bits in it fro rinsing, don't forget to dry as the metal holding the mesh can rust.

As my addmission to the plonker club I must confess to rewicking an aeortank head this morning and on reassembling coudn't work out why it was leaking badly until I looked down and realised I had left the complete chimney on the worktop. Doh!!

Doh!! Did that with a Kayfun Nano clone, you can't see the top part through the tank on the Nano so I think I'm just a plonk for that one.

With all this wick experimentation I've taken to carefully pulling the wick out of gummed up coils to inspect them. I'm a bugger for losing bits so after removing the wick in a Spheroid I reassembled it to keep it all together. You can guess what happened sometime later when I settled down for a cup of coffee and a quick vape
