My name is Milo from London, I am 22 and been smoking for 2 years... tried to stop for quite some time but it did not work. I am not a heavy smoker, usually went through 5-10 cigarettes a day depending whether I am at home or out socializing. 

A week ago I decided to try e-cigs so after some research I got myself a little deal on E-Lites website which included two batteries, two refills and a USB charger.

I have not touched a normal cigarette since and I really do not regret buying E-Lites. So far I am quite happy with it, the battery lasts for a day and I am on my second refill now. I probably get a few more refills from E-lites but after that I am considering to invest into a cigar size e-cig with e-liquid refill option. Seems like it would be a more efficient and less costly choice in a long run.

I had a read through the beginners guide (which is great!) and Ego seems like the most popular option everywhere however I was hoping if you guys could recommend a good beginners kit. I am quite attracted to simple stainless steel finish, nothing too massive.

Which kit do you guys is the best one from the list? I tried to pick kits with two batteries to make it easier and more convenient. 

As I understand I can always change the clearomiser on those kits to a different one? And what about changing the wick on them?

Yes! PLEASE, please ditch those ridiculously expensive things. I regret having anything to do with those rip-off merchants, but I guess after smoking 15 a day for 25 years, those pathetic little e-cigs were never going to cut it.

Can I just point something out though. If you are getting a day out of an e-lite and are only on the 2nd refill....maybe you only have a very mild nicotine habit. If you are going to get into refillable eGo batteries, try not to over-do it. Maybe you should actually stick with mini look-a-like e-cigs, there are no shortage of things out there. Have you come across Joyetech e-roll? That's a mini e-cig with a big punch for a "low" user.

I usually have jumps in nicotine need... sometimes one day I smoke more, the other day less.... but its unbelievable how easy it was to quit those expensive unhealthy cigarettes.

Hi & welcome to the forum, milomonkey. You have been busy reading & what you've come up with, is all good. The links posted above for you are too! I would just say, whatever upgrade you go for, get at least two batteries & whilst shopping, get a second charger too. Whatever you go for, I hope you're over the moon with it. The experience will be far better than with your elites, but they have worked for you & got you here.

The myepack Evod kit is the one I started with a few weeks ago. Its a very good kit for the money. You will need to get some e-liquid to go with it.
It comes with 5 spare coil heads which should last you a few weeks.
The Evod is a nice and simple kit, easy to fill and easy to change coil. It makes an excellent starting base and will keep you happily vaping while you see whether or not vaping is for you, and if you want to upgrade to more sophisticated stuff.
